Sword I made as a gift/commission for a friend (she insisted on paying me) Guess what? It's not eva foam. It's all poplar and mdf in fact. I do really like wood working, and for the graphite trick, a harder surface is needed to work best

Review says Seller is very responsive to questions and shipped quickly. The shield is light and easy to wear and carry for an extended period and looks GREAT. Most accurate Skyrim guard shield on Etsy, for sure!

One cool thing happened at the craft fair this weekend. I once again fooled an expert in a material with my props The excellent woodworker next to me, picked up an axe after I said everything was made of foam, and said "Ok, but that's wood right?" "Nope, PVC"

The number of times a professional leather worker has picked up my work and been 1 part impressed and 1 part baffled by it until I say "It's foam" Each one of these item has had that happen. More than once

Welp, I got a policy violation on Etsy for selling firearms I'm just too damn good I guess I'll take the compliment, but I am unable to appeal and these were always a good seller, so it stings a little too

A prop scifi pistol, known as Liberty Hammer from the show Firefly. While the faded brass and copper paint job, along with convincing wood handles (all made from eva foam) are realistic, the design is clearly that of a bulk scifi blaster.
