The Incredibles is #1 for sure, but Inside Out is a close #2, then probably Toy Story 2 for #3. But one that's wholly underrated is A Bug's Life. I go back to this scene more than any other in Pixar's filmography because it's just that good.

I'm still thinking about how bad this movie was. My major problem with it, aside from everybody being an idiot, is that it kinda exemplifies a core issue the series has in that ever since RE7, the franchise has been really blasé and kinda annoyingly self-aware about how dumb it is.

I have something of a story relating to this and why I wound up going to a PWI. The gist of it was my grandfather being arrested for mistaken identity, some advice he gave to my mother because of it, and a lot of fearmongering bullshit about black folks that came out in the late 80s/early 90s.

Remember how in Super Mario Galaxy, they introduced the Red Star? The power-up that lets you fly and feels good to control, but you can only use it in one stage? Then, remember in Super Mario Galaxy 2 how they had flying courses, but didn't bring back the Red Star and instead, it's a dumbass bird?

Why does the Rogue questline have such a good story attached? It's not super complex, but it actually ties into the larger goings-on of the setting and the location the job starts at. This is much better than the other ARR job quests I've done so far. #FFXIV
