“I can send you the information..” She pulled that same answer on Kussenberg on Sunday when asked about the actual figures of people apparently erroneously claiming UC, she never did when the BBC asked her office for them.

It could have been worse, he could have called them ‘deplorables’ instead of calling for their destruction.

It’s a low bar, in which to achieve credibility, to say that Hitler was a bit of a wrong-un. If that is the attitude what the British right are being urged to aspire to then it just shows how low they have sunk.

A good test of someone’s IQ is if the person who supposedly has one never boasts about having one.

Trade deals such as the Australian one which was mocked by the Australian press, derided by UK farmers, called a failure by the brexiter environment secretary, and then eventually disowned by Liz Truss, the person in charge of making international deals at the time? www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-poli...

Australia free trade deal a failure for UK, says George Eustice

@mrjamesob.bsky.social oh wow, a few weeks ago when you mentioned doing a gratitude list on your show I nearly messaged you to suggest that you get John Robins on to do Full Disclosure as he would be the man to talk about that. Woke up this morning to see the new episode with John on my feed!

Got it on cd too in the early 90’s, for some reason the price tag is still on it but that has come in handy when illustrating to my daughter, and others of her age, just how much we spent on music in those days. That was about half a days pay when working in that record store.

In other news runners of the London marathon have demanded that the London Marathon is too difficult and that it should be reduced to 13 miles so that they too can do their charitable commitments easier and quicker.

She got the job as PM by an absolute fluke of circumstances, at any another point in history she would have risen to be a low level minister at best. Getting her on to pontificate about the economy is like asking Portsmouth how to be a successful football club because they once won the FA cup.

Not saying that Trump changes his mind on a whim but on Monday he announced an “AI Force”, and on Tuesday he decided to unilaterally rename AI to SI, presumably rendering AI Force meaningless.

Now heard this on the news. “When the protestors at Gosport heard that the migrants were being taken to Dover instead they became hostile to the police.” Just shows that all they want is a punch up.

I recently ‘hired’ “The Ballad of Wallis Island” on Amazon, thinking that I could watch it ad free. As soon as the end credits started it immediately stopped and went straight to “you may like this..” Actually no, I would have preferred to listen to the integral end credits music instead.

Bravo? He did absolutely nothing about it whilst leading not only his party but the country. To say that he tolerated it is an understatement, it’s little too late to do so now.

He backed Labour two weeks before the GE in 2024 when the result was inevitable, presumably because he was after government subsidies to regenerate Old Trafford at that time. I’m guessing that he has been given a no for that and is now a bit bitter.

It’s worth remembering that a few short years ago the conservatives introduced this policy of housing asylum seekers in disused army bases as a way of deterring migrants. In fact I remember the argument from the usual suspects was “why don’t we put them in barracks, it’s good enough for our boys”

Johnson’s government once hoped that housing asylum seekers in army barracks would deter migrants. It was implemented by them as a deterrent, and now ex members of that govt complain of their use.

I remember only a few years ago the usual suspects were saying “why don’t we put asylum seekers in disused army barracks? If it’s good enough for our boys then it’s good enough for them.” They will never be happy wherever we put them, it’s no good placating them.

Perhaps Reform should commission a video explaining how their policies on crypto currencies are not influenced by the donations from crypto owners? It could be called The Triumph of the Shill. #r4today

For someone who wanged on enough about keeping our sovereign currency, to the extent of even having the £ as his party’s logo, Farage just loves taking money off people who want their own private currency to bypass all of that.

She was either fee-paying, in which case her parents benefited from the subsidy of not paying VAT on those fees, or she got a scholarship because of her swimming abilities, a direct benefit to her personally which would have been more than the 50p a day she now wishes to abolish for other children.

The next time someone pops up in front of Justin and says that we are Christian country I hope he asks them if they are going to church on Sunday, because clearly you can’t be a Christian if you don’t go every week.

The argument that they give is that he is not a ‘practising Jew’. These are generally from the same people who often cite the UK as a ‘Christian country’ which, going by their definition, is complete balls as 99% of the country are not ‘practising’ Christians/regular church goers.

Farage has a graphic already teed up for display behind him in anticipation of this happening, they revel in it, encourage it, and hope that it happens. Despicable from that stick wielding and hair pulling elderly couple, I hope that there’s an especially hard cold snap this winter for them.
