And the fee needs to be way, way more than he paid them. It needs to hurt

The answer there is it needs to cost those companies more to destroy federal property than he gave them to do it. We are in n a giant exercise of what happens when people don’t face consequences. If the construction company paid a giant fee or did jail time this would stop

Today, I signed an Executive Order temporarily repealing bedtimes in the City of New York so that kids of all ages can watch our team in the NBA Finals. As Mayor, you’re forced to make many difficult decisions. This was not one of them. Go Knicks.

I think you’re giving CBS management and the Ellison family too much credit. They want a propaganda network or to at the very least to shut down legitimate news. Access isn’t the goal. Hijacking democracy is. Hopefully it backfires on them

The people you see in pictures screaming at black children during desegregation in the 1960’s didn’t magically disappear, become better people or raise their children to be less despicable than themselves. That would be the lesson of the Donald Trump era. They were this way the whole time.

Maybe someone should have shown JD the Venn diagram between who would go in a military draft and who the students are at a state school. Apparently you’d have to explain it to him like he’s 5

Have they considered implementing policies that their constituents actually want? Just throwing some ideas out there. Maybe trying to inflict things on the country that 90% of it doesn’t want while giving everyone a middle finger is a poor strategy and they could knock it off?

Are you a married woman who enjoys exercising your constitutional right to vote? This afternoon, Senate Republicans and Trump hope to make it much harder for you. Call your senator and tell them to vote NO on the "SAVE" Act. act.indivisible.org/sign/stop-go...

Are you suggesting if we quit asking if, in addition to abusing women, did the president also abuse children in hopes that he stop abusing the country? That kind of strategy has not historically worked out well for countries dealing with megalomaniacs

I would like to point out both the department of defense and transportation instantly got orders of magnitude dumber when we got rid of DEI. Just saying.

mrcase77.bsky.social @mrcase77.bsky.social · 11/03/2026
Also, can we bring DEI back? The department of defense and also the department of transportation had the ability to plan ahead when we had DEI. Maybe that’s the secret sauce we’re missing.

Very much so tribalism and also, to be fair, unlike Trump Bush didn’t run on a platform of nihilism. His pitch was “let’s help people who need it but be responsible so we can help others another day”. I hadn’t yet watched him break health insurance and spike the previously balanced budget yet

The SAVE Act was never about election integrity or keeping elections fair. It is about building a paywall around the ballot and hoping we’re too exhausted or too broke to participate. The SAVE Act is meant to keep us home so they can steal an election. jesspiper.substack.com/p/voter-pass...
