Narcisism, that's what I see. It feels like lack of culture and creative vision.

Wish to see some Azzurrina fan art. I wonder how the internet would draw my oc in their own style.

Grazie Dany! On one hand, I was thrilled to have contributed to Mr. Crumb's return, but on the other, I’m just sorry I didn't receive any recognition for helping with his redesign. I don't bite, in fact, I’m more than happy to lend a hand whenever needed.

Yup, a over simplification for pure purpose of beign easly recognised. This also explain why most games, movies and even foods looks all the same instead to be unique. This is why games today has lost a core identity: the appeal to minimalism only.

Yeah, for what I understand is for marketing and trends. Because if a product got those elements, the algorythm makes it easy to be search with specific colors, character design, shapes and fonts. From a simple fruit to a more sugar decorated one. Is all about the numbers.

It depends. The challenge is always the same: creating content that is shocking yet memorable, thanks to the gameplay and the story, something that nowadays seems to be done solely for the sake of social media content. Just for the numbers. Less quality and more quantity.

And that is the point: a game for adults should be aimed at an adult audience. After all, it is assumed that adults are capable of handling certain topics in a more pragmatic way. You know it is fiction; nothing you see is real. Inclusivity on the other hand achieves the opposite effect.

110

Mr.Caputo @mrcaputo90.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Essentially, the adult audience is removed from the equation just to ensure a crowd of children and families asan attempt to please everyone that yields mediocre results, safe sales or low sales.

Pretty much. But for my personal experience, for what I saw and played, I have the sensation adult games are becoming less and less mature for actual adults and are becoming immature and childish. Especially for storytelling, gameplay and world building.

After playing some adult games, i got this impression on what's adult and not really an adult videogame experience. So I've made this meme. Let's discuss about. Did you found actual adult videogames or "flavored" adult games but is for teenagers or kids?

Fun fact: people complain how Azzurrina is not a ghost. She lives in the underworld. If she ever reach the living realm she would manifest actual ghost abilities.
