There is an issue with the armor that covers the camera. If painting the kit, it's VERY difficult to remove the cover, due to how tight a fit it is. There's a good chance of damaging something. I trimmed the bits as seen here. Now it's very easy to remove for painting.

I lost a bunch of time with the head, staring at the details, mostly the visor area. Putting on the lower face armor was annoying. Looks great. Flash ruins the actual head color, but I really wanted to capture the details.

Went to the Nijiya market today and finally found a Converge Reborns Gundam. Someone hid it behind other shokugan. After several trips these last 2 weeks and with no luck, there it was. They've had all the others in the lineup except this one. It's sold in a lot of places online. ME SO HAPPY!!

Mom and sister returned from El Salvador. They brought me what they couldn't get on their last trip: Pollo Campero. Not a 3 piece, but a 10 piece box! Didn't look pretty due to condensation, but was brought back to life in the air fryer. THIS GAVE ME LIFE, after a rough month. So good! #Food

And finally, Coleslaw. This one is... eh. Don't get me wrong, I love KFC coleslaw. This mini just falls short. To be fair, I imagine it's hard to paint something like this accurately at this size. I prefer this over a plastic bowl with a sticker on it, like some mini makers (even gashapon) do.

Chicken Sandwich. It comes in a foil-laminated paper bag. I like that the packaging is separate, allowing you to easily take the sandwich in and out rather than having it permanently attached. I like the pickles on the bottom.

Pot Pie. You can take off a piece of the crust to see the ingredients inside. The problem with this is if you start putting the crust on and off you immediately start to wear out the red stripes/paint on the bowl.

I gave in and bought Mini Brands - KFC. First Mini Brands I've ever purchased. I'm happy with what I got and hopefully this doesn't turn into an addiction, because I really want more. I'm eyeing the Taco Bell minis. It sucks that potato wedges aren't in this set.

Went to Stonestown mall to look for shokugan at the Miniso (even though they are overpriced). Store was quite... sparse. Layout was changed. Nothing like before. All the good stuff they used to have is gone. They still had Zootopia figures which was great to see.
