17. Coyote vs. Acme I didn't expect to like it as much as I do. I laughed a lot and even got a lil emotional at specific points. I did not go in with super high expectations except for it being fun, but I've been thinking a lot about the movie since I saw it. And it has things to say! Looney.

16. Super Mario Sunshine This was the only 3D Mario I hadn't played and now I beat it! Yippee! It was whatever, tbh. Pretty annoying at times. Some really frustrating stuff. But, like, overall, though, like, whatever ig.

15. Dokapon Kingdom: Sword of Fury FUCK THIS GAME. I hate it, shit sucks, it's awful in a not funny way, and I'm so glad it's over. Goodbye.

14. Spider-Man: Brand New Day This was an amazing Spider-Man movie and absolutely the most lived-in the MCU has ever felt. It felt the most "this is a comic book" MCU work ever, I think, and I was just impressed through and through. Amazing performances, storyline, etc. Wanna watch it again already!

13. The Name I Wear An interesting little indie game that has a unique premise and fascinating story thread to piece together. It's a short one, being made by a team of game design students, but I am very impressed with what they made. Also, getting the fastest completion time was a lot of fun!

Final day of Pride Month. Here's a picture from earlier this month I really liked! Presented fem at work for the first time this month. Was scary, but was showered in support. I'm still on a journey, figuring things out, but I have Pride. Happy Pride, meow meow!

#30 - Persona 4 Golden I played this in high school when identity was something I was really struggling with. This was the right game at the right time as it had a lot of interesting things to say about identity that I needed to hear. I don't agree with everything it does, but man, it gave me a lot.

#31 - 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Dude, how do you even write something like this? Genuinely a masterclass writing work to be able to have such interesting stories and twists crafted through 13 separate storylines. I was gushing about this and its reveals every time something happened, it's so cool.

#32 - Town of Salem Social deduction perfected. I've had many a ToS phases where I just become obsessed with these games for weeks at a time, playing without reprieve. And you can tell I truly love it since it is a social game that I will happily play with randoms and don't need friends to have fun.

#33 - Animal Crossing: New Leaf Animal Crossing is peak. This is probs the peak of the series, but it is also the start of the some aspects of the series I don't care for. Still, a lot of great memories and I got a ton of mileage of this game, as well as the series as a whole.

#34 - Spyro Reignited This one is just a hoot to play through. I always had a soft spot for Spyro as a kid, but never played his PS trilogy until this. And man, just running around in these worlds is just so fun. A great time.

#35 - Kirby Planet Robobot In my opinion, the pinnacle of modern Kirby. It absolutely goes all in on its theming and is all the better, and more unique, for it. From how it effects the story to the levels to the gimmicks to even what Copy Abilities they include, this game embraces its concept fully.

#36 - Unicorn Overlord Oh man, unlike some of its Strategy RPG contemporaries, I LOVE every bit of gameplay detail in this game. Everything is calculated, party building is such a treat and a game of its own, and the characters feel so grounded and charming. Truly a masterpiece of strategic design.

#37 - Shovel Knight A classic and a trendsetter. Papa of the modern indie scene, I will always put respect on big dawg's name. And then the added campaigns? Come on, it's just not fair. Specter of Torment alone is so good, and I got that added for free? Yacht Club too good, man. I gotta get Mina.

#38 - Virtue's Last Reward I used to have this game a lot higher, but what I want in stories have changed over time. However, I will never deny what this story did for me when I first played it. I was invested like nothing else and it wowed me. I love sci-fi and the concepts were real cool.

#39 - Persona 5 Royal I was so excited play this game when it finally came out on PC and was not disappointed. I do have some issues with some of the theming, but on the whole, it is chockful of interesting ideas to really chew on. The game is fun, too, being a rich JRPG with some great characters!

100

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 16/06/2026

#40 - Ace Attorney: Investigations 2 Ace Attorney doesn't delve into mystery often and when it does, it's usually kinda meh. But goddamn, did they COOK in Investigations 2. Truly an all-encompassing plot that really just hits different when all the pieces come together. Great story and chars, too.

#41 - Dragon Quest 3 - HD-2D This is a classic remade into such a beautiful (and modernized) experience. This is the Dragon Quest that screams Adventure the most. A fun JRPG time that I already quite liked that remade pushed it to where it's just a beautiful and special experience.

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

#42 - Danganronpa Yeah. This is a real complicated thing to talk about. It's a wacky, flawed, messy story with all sorts of... I dunno, man. It's a lot. But man, what a premise they introduced. What an atmosphere this game has, unparalleled in the series. How intimate this one is. Very cool mess.

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 11/06/2026

#43 - A Link Between Worlds The perfect 2D Zelda experience in my eyes. It takes everything great about it, makes the map super tight yet malleable thanks to the Rental System, and it is just a blast to play. The story is cute, nothing crazy, but this is the best Zelda to simply play.

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 10/06/2026

#44 - OFF As clear in my list already, I love RPGs. And OFF is such a unique RPG experience, full of surrealist charm and themes that really get you thinking. The atmosphere is so isolating and interesting, and it just has a vibe, ya know? Striking little experience, this one.

#45 - Dragon Quest IX My introduction to the Dragon Quest series full of cozy memories. This is a pretty laidback and casual adventure that I really got sucked into roleplaying with the party customization. It's a fun RPG romp and has THE best puns in the series and the best puns in gaming.

12. Among Us (TV Show) I was very pleasantly surprised. A short, sweet, show that was actually really cute and a lot of fun. Some character stuff that actually got me lol, just a nice show all-around. Good stuff, enjoyed it a lot 😄

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

#46 - Pokemon Violet This game is very flawed, but after giving up Pokemon in Gen 8, I was so happy to fall in love with Pokemon again. I had to play abnormally with a special type of run to really get the most out of it, but god that run was something truly special. Made me excited to play Pokemon.

11. The Amazing Digital Circus It was amazing and digital. For the sake of keeping spoilers to a nothing, I will simply say I enjoyed this ride with the Circus and some characters have become some of my favorite characters ever. It really hurts me that this is over, but I loved my time with it.

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 04/06/2026

#47 - Billy Hatcher A nostalgia pick, but a very fun one from back in the day! A lot of clunk to it sometimes, but it is so charming a fun and I was enthralled by this little game no one else seemed to know about. I also loved the multiplayer battle mode, probably where I spent most of my time!

110

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 04/06/2026

#48 - Bug Fables This game is great and I'm not only saying that cause I backed it and got an item in it! I love Paper Mario, I love bugs, this game was made for me! And it has such a deep skill ceiling, it's genuinely pretty insane! A great cast and charming world, this game is so cute and fun!

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

#49 - Pikmin 4 I do really miss the danger and alien feeling of the series early years, but what Pikmin 4 loses in edge, it makes up for in polish. I love just playing this game, controlling it, and exploring these beautiful little vistas. I love meeting the silly goobers. I love Oatchi and Pikmin.

#50 - Kirby Squeak Squad This is the first video game I ever 100%'d as well as it being my first Kirby game! It's a simple romp exploration game that I put many hours and playthroughs into. It isn't amazing, but it has a lot of fond memories to me. Love The Squeaks! Fun time, plain n simple!

Gonna be counting down my Top 50 Favorite Video Games every weekday starting today! Without further delay, let's get the countdown started!

10. Spirit of Justice This game was interesting in that all the stuff I don't like about the franchise are present and some stuff exacerbated more than ever! But I think it does have a lot of interesting ideas still and did enjoy it overall. Some great moments, but a number of baffling choices too.

110

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

9. Spy x Family (S3) I dunno what else to say about this at this point, lol. I still really like it, I still really love the antics and the characters. I love the serious stuff they got too, like Loid's backstory and the busjacking. Great stuff, as usual. Love the Forger family.

110

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 09/05/2026

8. Investigations 2 Ace Attorney doesn't do mystery often. It is not the goal. But man, I wish they did more often cause fuck can they do it well. The mysteries and web in this really got me in a super satisfying way I'd never felt in the series before. Amazing stuff! Huge glow-up from 1 lmao

7. Love Has Won A truly depressing, eye-opening documentary. It is unreal that people can become like this. Not just the cult leader, but the followers. We read the websites too, the ones created after Amy's death and it is so surreal to see what the human mind can believe and give their lives to.

100

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 16/04/2026

6. Hoppers This movie was really cute, great humor, fun characters, cool premise, interesting world, and awful politics and messaging. I don't really care too much about neutral / liberal politics in animated movies, but when a movie's entire premise is politics, get your weak libshit outta here.

100

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 16/04/2026

5. Super Mario Galaxy Movie It was a silly fun time. If there's one thing I can say is that this movie is aesthetically wonderful. Beautifully animated, amazing soundtrack. The movie overall was just a fun brain-off time, and I enjoyed a number of things about it, but I do prefer the original.

4. The Great Ace Attorney 2 Wow!! I have had my ups and downs with AA, but this game is truly just amazing on all fronts. Easily my fav in the series. I already loved the world and characters in the first TGAA, but this fixed all the pacing issues and truly delivered something special. Masterpiece.

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 25/02/2026

3. I Swear Thanks to discourse, I checked this out. Beautiful movie and an amazingly talented lead in the form of Robert Aramayo, just absolutely stellar work. I've always been aware and sympathetic to Tourette's due to my mom's line of work, but this movie is just so moving. An amazing must-watch.

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 12/02/2026

2. Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies I'm ngl, after the first 2 cases, I was about ready to quit. I thought this was everything I hated about the series. But third case and on, things really turned around for me and I was real invested. Mixed bag (as most AAs seem to be), but really on board by the end!

100

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 09/01/2026

1. Zootopia 2 I didn't care much for the first one, but decided to watch 2 on a whim. And damn, this one got me. I was really invested in Nick and Judy's relationship and I thought the plot and theme was a LOT stronger and better represented in this than the first. I'm looking forward to a 3!

130

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 30/12/2025

32. Dispatch That was pretty cool! The artstyle was great, some good humor, and the character interactions were pretty fun. Story was okay, nothing crazy, but it was an engaging time at least. A short and sweet game. Maybe I'll get other endings and stuff? I dunno. I'm happy with what I did.

31. MHA Final Season Peak.

120

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 28/12/2025

30. MHA: You're Next Ngl, this one was pretty disappointing. A ton of very great ideas that just didn't land for me at all. I really wanted to like it as there were a lot of stuff I really dug, but it just felt gamey, sloppy, and didn't resonate with me like it was attempting to. Alas.

110

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 28/12/2025

29. World Heroes Mission My favorite of the three MHA movies thus far, for sure. Rody Soul is a fantastic character and the vibe of the movie is very different in a fun and exciting way. The villain angle is unique and interesting, Humarise as an idea really caught me. Great stuff!

110

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 26/12/2025

28. Klaus Damn. I heard great things about this one, but I didn't expect it to be that good, man. One of the best Christmas movies I've ever seen and really nailed it out of the park on the premise and idea. Lot of similarities to a few other things I couldn't get out of my mind but goated movie fr.

151

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 15/12/2025

27. EPIC: The Musical Listened to it in its entirety during my drive today. A little cringey sometimes, ngl, but overall great stuff. I know the story of the Odyssey like the back of my hand, so this was really cool to experience. Some real peak shit overall, even if a bit eh in some songs.

110

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 15/12/2025

26. Pokemon Concierge (S2) Cute :3 Fun little sweet time, just more Concierge, which is exactly what it should be. A cute little world to get lost in and admire and further jam in the feeling of "God I wish I lived in the Pokemon world!" Cute!

110

Donut @mpdonut.bsky.social · 15/12/2025

25. Death Battle '25 I was really worried once Death Battle had to go independent. It felt like they were really hitting their stride during S9 and 10, only for that to happen. But man. They've been killing, esp on character work. It's fucking insane. Absolutely banger episodes, excited for more!
