I like birds, IPAs, watercolor. I think Mehmet Oz is a choad. Generally have no opinion on strangers.

Google searches for “John husted’s ass” did in fact spike, but far more than nine percentage points.

“That war” is a disaster. As opposed to all the wonderful, marvelous, successful wars we all love.

Then they should just go jump off bridges, much more fun.

I believe that Trump’s cabinet picks are also designed to make it seem like extremist weirdos are a bigger part of the population than one would otherwise think. MAGA voters should ask themselves 1) how many billionaires do I know? 2) how many billionaires do I know who need presidential pardons?

If the average American turned their clocks back twice a year they’d gain like 144 hours of life expectancy. Sounds good to me.

That’s gotta be like, a nine thousand percent reduction in their diesel costs, at least. Many people are saying. Sir.

I hate — sincerely — that every incidence of comeuppance for these effing ghouls means there are actual suffering victims.

I’m picturing a school full of that kid from A Murder at the End of the World and maybe a few young Haley Joel Osment characters.

Unfortunately I think they’re *just* clever enough to realize this the easiest way to sabotage the program’s finances in order to be able to point to how “unsuccessful” it is later. This administration is doing nothing but laying austerity traps for the next admins and generations.

“But jobs!” is what everyone I’ve ever heard anyone who fetishizes these guys immediately says, including of Trump himself during his first campaign. Which is to say, critical thinking is truly dead in a huge part of the population.

To indulge him and consider he’s speaking in good faith would require believing that with all the clowns in Florida and DOGE clowns and Trump’s cabinet supposedly hunting for fraud took so long to find out that triple the population of Florida was buying health insurance there for some reason.

Also, if you use too much healthcare, that’s a problem too.

Not the point I realize but what kind of weirdo refers to themselves with quotation marks when a) not being ironic or b) not even using a nickname they hope will stick? (Maybe he’s being ironic? Because only other option is he’s a weirdo. Always wondered what that Occam’s razor thing is all about.)

he’s so angry I honestly kept expecting him to explain how these “phantoms” actually cost society any money but sadly his level of understanding seems to be about the same as — or even worse than — what we see when his boss goes on about trade deficits.

Au contraire. I, for one, would be intrigued just enough by a company called Expensive Fiasco Airlines to give them a try.

I don’t know why the bad guys waited so long to start warming up the death star’s weapons and getting into position at the end. If they started just a minute earlier they would have won.

Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s character Charlie’s attitude of acceptance regarding being caught in a flood of sewage washing

What’s kind of funny is that this reminds me of the cereal ads from the seventies where the pure-sugar cereal was hyped as “healthy” based solely on the added vitamins and minerals. Add toast, juice, and milk, and it was a “complete” breakfast.

Unfortunately the grand jury went on to say, in effect, “but we can’t really tell exactly who stole the money so there’s nothing to be done.” Not sure who needs to sue or whatever to get discovery that would say exactly who stole the money but it absolutely can’t be allowed to just stand.

I remember during a contamination scandal being naively stunned to hear that apples grown in North America were being sent to china for processing into applesauce which was then returned. I thought, “no way labor costs can account for that. How much labor is involved with making applesauce anyway?”
