OC-tober Day 7: Backstory Abner and Alma were together the day he ‘disappeared’ - and spent the following decades coping in their own ways 🩵 (More lore for both in the alt text!) #bweirdOCtober #bweirdOCtober2026 #oc #art #ocsky

As a child, Abner was a bit of a troublemaker. He loved getting up to no good, and his little sister Alma, who thought he was the coolest person in the world, would always tag along. However, Abner’s mischievous deeds eventually caught up to him - they were in a antiques/artifacts stall at the local artisan market, and tried to steal a fish-shaped brooch Alma had her eye on. However, the shop owner revealed herself as a word witch, who spitefully commanded that Abner ‘disappear’ - and he did, in every sense of the word. He woke up in a strange, unfamiliar town, and found that he’d become invisible.
After struggling through homelessness for a few months, a local butcher took pity on him and took Abner under his wing. By the time Abner was back on his feet and managed to work out where he was, he was far too ashamed to try and seek out his family again. Instead, he only sought to find a cure for his curse - trying to save enough money from his job to find a witch (or anyone able to help, really) he could pay to restore his appearance.

After Abner literally disappeared, Alma went into a state of shock. She somehow stumbled back home, but when she explained to her parents what happened and tried to show them the word witch’s tent, it was already long gone. For many years afterward, Alma would always question her own memory of exactly what happened. Though the rest of her family eventually concluded that Abner was long gone, probably no longer alive, Alma still desperately clung to her faith that he was out there. She would always wear a brave face around other people, and worked herself to the bone to become a professional athlete. In her mind, being someone in the public eye meant that she’d have a better chance of reaching out to her missing brother. She would always talk about him in press conferences or interviews, hoping Abner would see them and they could finally reunite. She never knew that he had been out there and aware for a long time, simply avoiding her for his own broken pride.

I'm really happy with how the Halloween Roselle art turned out that it's had the side-effect of "how tf am in going to follow this up" because it's meant to be one of three drawings in a set. 😭

A man with dirty blond hair holds up a handgun in his left hand while smiling at the camera. Climbing gears are strewn along the harness that is snugly fit around his waist and hips.

Same shot of Casey but with his orange jacket and climbing equipment taken off to show the simple tank top and gray pants outfit beneath. His clothes hug his fit and athletic form.

And the first piece for #Drawtober2026 is finished! This is 'The Mage and Their Muse' which is one of my favorite pieces that I've done recently! There's an accompaniment of poems with it, but I'll release those sometime later since this was pretty big for mr. #blacksky #art #artsky #ocsky

Two smiling lovers embrace one another in a forest. The world is colored with inspiration from Grecian urns, where the trees are white with golden vines and the flowers are a myriad of colors. In the midst, the two embrace and smile at one another.

[OC Art] Scary Witch Seems that looks can be deceiving. But you’ll still stay with her for a bite or two…won’t you? #oc #art #ocart #characterdesign

A monster girl(?) taking the form of a witch-like figure, stationed in the midst of a dark forest. Her hat is worm-like having one large yellow eye and three white teeth that form the figures hair. It’s tongue wraps around the figures head like a scarf, and her purple dress is actually an assortment of tentacles. She smiles with a pointy maw as she peers around a tree towards the viewer.

OC-tober Day 4: Under-appreciated OC I feel like I’ve been much better about sharing love between my OCs lately (though I’ve been more focused on my D&Dverse), so I’ll choose Bellamy since they still kinda lack any connections with my other OCs 🩷 (More in alt text) #bweirdOCtober #bweirdOCtober2026

Bellamy was born into a shadowblade family - basically, the children have been trained as stealth agents for generations. They were always talented at the job, but yearned for a more exciting life. As a divine elf, they had the power to view other people’s memories by consuming their flesh (a little nibble will do!). Bellamy would use this gift to see what ‘normal’ lives were like, and what had brought joy to the enemy agents and guards they knocked out or killed on the job.
At some point, Bellamy saw a memory of the circus and became immediately enamoured. They abandoned their shadowblade work, and set out to discover what this mysterious place was and how they could become a part of it.
Bellamy is hyper-mobile, and love contorting themselves into weird poses. Despite the airheaded and carefree way they present themselves, they are actually pretty smart and switched on - often catching people off-guard.
As a divine elf, Bellamy’s lifespan is near-immortal. Their attitude towards death and mortality is rather whimsical; happy to have met you, sad that you’re gone but in the same way you’re sad when a vacation ends. More nostalgic than actual grief.

SCARY MONSTERS (and a Super Freak)! Guess this technically makes this the first Halloween-themed art post of the month? #oc | #ocsky | #art

Digital artwork on a primarily pure black background. The artwork features several colored outlines in the shapes of five separate characters. The first, located in the bottom left, is a outlined portrait of a man with short blonde hair that is smiling at the viewer. A pair of two small white circles are placed where the figure's eyes should be. The remaining four silhouettes are all monsters with body parts that are mishmashed together.

The first one, located to the right of the man and in the middle of the artwork, features a creature with a small velociraptor-like head with several bright yellow frills that point outwards. Attached to a pair of tiny thin arms are a pair of lighting-bolt shaped appendages. Attached to its the tiny in comparison torso is the rest of the creature's body, which consists of a far larger dragon-like tail with several red spines that jut outwards. In the artwork the creature has its mouth open, showing its fangs and light orange tongue. The second creature has a similar appearance to the first, having the exact same head. However, the head is instead attached to a large oval-shaped torso that resembles an ice-berg. It also has a blue tongue and has a trail of light blue snot that appears out of its left nose.

The third creature is a fish-like creature that massive head in comparison to the rest of of its body. The head appears to be put on backwards as its mouth is located at the top and a white "crown" is located at the bottom. It is supported a four white fins and has a a small hump on its back. The fourth and final creature has a similar-appearing head as the third creature. However this one has the head oriented to the mouth is at the bottom and a red crest is at the top. The large head is instead attached at the end of a draconic tail with legs and red spines, similar to the first creature's. Its mouth is hung open. The creatures are pokemon called Dracozolt, Arctozolt, Arctovish and Dracovish respectively.
