This is a transformational moment for workers’ rights in Canada.

I stand in solidarity with workers and the unions who are united in pushing back against the governments attack on workers right to strike!

I have written to Jobs Minister Patty Hajdu to directly request repealing section 107 of the labour code rather than enhancing it in favour of corporations over workers
through bill C-39.

At a time when Canada is supposed to be moving AWAY from U.S.style politics, why IS Jobs Minister Hajdu importing U.S. style labour policies into our Labour Code?

We should be strengthening Canadian workers’ rights not attacking them.

The rumour is the Liberal government will limit parliamentary debate and will force a vote next week on bill C39 to limit public scrutiny. That is not democracy or what Canadians voted for.

Now is the time to act…Contact Minister Hajdu (email in comments). Speak up and stand with workers who are on the front lines of pushing back against corporate greed.
