They are 100% still doing this. I don't think they ever stopped. They get picked up by adblockers, though, so we had to turn that off to double-check.

Re-watched The Secret of NIMH the other day, and while we have a lot of other thoughts related to it, we made one note in particular that stood out to us for some reason.

Doodle of both Mrs. Brisby from Secret of NIMH, and Moxie (our stoat fursona). There's a handful of red markings pointing to similar design choices, like fluffy tufts of hair and big round haunches.

Ooooh, that looks tasty... reminds me of a quiche, but bigger and more fun.

🐱 So uh, Twitch has informed me that it’s nearly my one year “streamiversary,” and I keep feeling like I should get back to it, so…. I guess that’s what we’re doing tonight? twitch.tv/moxie_cat

A massive title that reads "MOXIE IS BACK?" In the corner, a Moxie Stoat mildly panics, thinking "oh god do I remember how to do this?"
(there is also a Nix along the bottom, with an arrow reading "wait who's that.")

Bsky is being extremely rude this morning, so I'm posting the promo instead! Come catch us over at twitch.tv/birchtwigs! STRAY CHILDREN Chapter 5: In which we fall in love in the beautiful land of roses. #StrayChildren #Onionアート

A screentone illustration of Moxie and Birch, both in the style of the dog boy from Stray Children.
They are sitting on the side of a fountain. Birch offers Moxie a rose as a romantic gesture. A wind-up maid beside them scowls, disapprovingly.

Random Headmate Art that we haven't shared here yet 🖤 still feelin' good about these #MoxieMakesArt #ActuallyNixMakesArtThisTime #ItsComplicated

Art of (and drawn by) our headmate Nix. They're a grey cat with long pink hair, wearing a modest crop top and fishnets. They've got a toothpick between their teeth and heavy eyeliner.

Also Nix, but in a screen-printed style. They're beaming (somewhat mischievously) at the viewer

2026-07-20 Today, we swam for the very first time in a swimsuit that suits our gender presentation. We haven’t felt this whole in a very long time. We’ve wanted this since we were a little egg (if you’ll pardon the slang), and every year of waiting was worth it. 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵 #MoxieMakesArt

Pencil drawing of Moxie, an anthropomorphic stoat, wearing a modest black bikini. They float blissfully on the water, eyes closed.

Currently live with Birch at twitch.tv/birchtwigs! It would mean a lot if you could come along and watch us play: STRAY CHILDREN Chapter 1: In which we meet a mysterious figure #MoxieMakesArt #StrayChildren #Onionアート

A screentone illustration of Moxie and Birch, both in the style of the dog boy from Stray Children.
They look up apprehensively at a mysterious pointy-haired figure, whose face is turned away from the viewer.

Did you guess right? Turns out, there's a few different folks milling around in this Moxie suit these days... we're plural! Thank you to so many of our friends for being understanding, and giving us confidence and support while we get used to all this. 🧡 #MoxieMakesArt #furry #plurality

"MoxieCat's" head is removed, revealing it's a plush suit being worn by Nix (a grey cat with heavy eyeliner). They look down at themself and huff. "Christ, all this cutesy shit is hard to keep up."

Now Sunny (a yellow dog pooltoy) is removing the suit, looking flustered. They whine "too much brain work for a puppy like me..."

Moxie, proper Moxie (a stoat with pink hair), stands with the suit at their feet. They look exhausted, mumbling "just being a person is awful tiring..."

Moxie Makes Stuff @moxiecat.ca · 05/07/2026

Guess who’s back! Go on. Guess.

MoxieCat, a living orange cat plushie, waves to the viewer. "Hi folks! I'm back!" they say. "Like, as a cat, I mean!"

A small zipper handle pokes out from behind their turtleneck. They nervously add "and um, p-please don't pay attention to whatever THAT is."

Woa... #FurryMusicFriday AND #BandcampFriday on the same day?? Hi, I'm Moxie! I make music of all sorts (mainly game soundtracks and ambient synthy stuff). Conveniently, you can listen to it all at moxiecat.bandcamp.com! If you like what you hear, consider buying it. Your support means a lot!

Cover art for "Liquid Air," depicting a lone radio broadcast tower poking out of a forest at night.

Cover art for "Sayonara, Eggbug," depicting my old fursona waving goodbye to Eggbug, the mascot of Cohost.org.
Text on the side reads "Six Tunes from COMPOST, the Cohost Music Jam, 2023-2024."

Cover art for the Frogsong Soundtrack. The game's protagonist, a tree frog with a sword and backpack, naps peacefully beneath a leaf.

Cover art for the "Climb The Tower To Save Your Prince BF" soundtrack. The protagonist is holding a key on their head, looking up at the evil wizard above them.

"ORIENTATION - A Plushogram Preview" drops this Friday!! In case you're curious how the final game will sound, here's an EP of 4 of the finished tracks, including a late-game song I'm pretty happy with. Think you can solve the album art before release? :3 #Plushogram #BandcampFriday #indiedev

Sometimes I like putting a shadow over everything, then erasing it to "paint in" where the light would hit. I dunno if it's faster, and it's probably nothing revolutionary, but it's easier for me to wrap my head around it this way.

Moxie Makes Stuff @moxiecat.ca · 07/03/2026

Bit of a late post for me, but cool things are on the way 👀

Additional #ScribbleLeague piece to make up for missing a few. I had a bit of an epiphany last night, and this phrase has been rattling around my brain all day. #MoxieMakesArt #art #furry

A pen doodle of MoxieCat, who's making a pen doodle of MoxieStoat, who's making a pen doodle of another fella, who's...

There is no "why." The Art justifies itself.

A Valentine's Day card of Velvet, a red teddy bear. He's making a little heart gesture with his paws.
"Valentine, you make me feel WARM and FUZZY!"

Another card of Velvet. He's holding up a nonogram puzzle. I wonder what the solution is...?
"I have a secret for you, Valentine..."

- You were 35% queerer this year!
- You made 4 new friends!
- You spent 365 days as a plushie! (here's to many more!)

Second batch of #BrushWeek2025 art! He's, uh, not too happy about how the Clean Brush came out. Hopefully the others made up for it. #MoxieMakesArt #art #furry

Velvet with the "clean brush." He's been turned into a pooltoy, and REALLY isn't happy about it. Sokobun is beside him, scratching her head and explaining "I SWEAR I grabbed the right brush..."

Velvet with the "wretched brush." He's wearing a spiked collar, fishnets, eyeliner, and heavy boots. He seems to like it, remarking "I haven't looked this punk since college..."

Velvet with the "lagoon brush." He's made of sand, with a sailor hat and tie.

I was away visiting family for most of #BrushWeek2025... but I still managed to finish each prompt! This was a pretty fun design exercise, and I hope there'll be a Brush Week 2026. #MoxieMakesArt #art #furry

Velvet from Plushogram, with the "cosmic brush." He's dark blue and star-patterned, with a bow tie that looks like Jupiter.

Velvet with the "plushie brush." He's a pale cream, with various patches sewn on. He comments "seems a bit redundant," since he's already a teddy bear.

Velvet with the "garden brush." He's green and grassy, with a leafy bowtie and a sprout growing out of his head.
