okay, the error at the end of last was very silly, we were doing a use after free: we were getting the header of the vector before it got reallocated in vec_push, which means it was invalidated.

so, apparently, somthing i'm doing in suboptimal is corrupting the fp `f` here, and makes "futex" freak out (futex apprently being about user-space locking and stuff (no idea why), and not something freaky)

because C is so quirky, not only did they add typeof in C23 but they also had to add typeof_unqual, giving you the type of the given identifier without the qualifiers, making it possible to do a "good" foreach macro like this:
