some of my cats hardly pee when I'm asleep. There is such a thing as a Social Pooper as far as cats go, I've found. They like attention, my best guess is it's some kind of safety instinct/being watched is being Safe

-rewarding is a different process than experiencing it as part of the audience. AI seeks to remove the depth from both the creation & experience of art. There is an unseen social aspect to art that is being erased; it seeks to take away that piece of human connection found in any kind of creation.

genuinely what's so horrifying to me about the idealized output of AI models isn't only that artists are cut out of the process of creation & expression, but also that the creation itself is meant to be exactly what you know you like & want to see. this is kind of like a paradox to me

(I also really worry for younger gens because with a recorded childhood, many of them will have no privacy whatsoever/these images & videos are often used to hurt them once posted online, sometimes by their parents themselves). I still think it's good to have them but there's still some catches

On one hand, video of my late brother is precious. On the other, Google drive regularly reminds me to delete them to make space (I do have them backed up now, but the reminders are annoying,& Google remains the easiest way to share them), which I really, really don't appreciate.
