The idea of her singing So Highschool or Wood at her wedding is comical. But also its the line between viewing this as a Gaylor Performance Art or as an actual wedding. Like if this is her WEDDING with everyone she wanted to be there (even if it's 1000+ people), to me that's still a sweet gesture

I keep seeing people say it's tacky to sing at your own wedding or walking down to your own music is tacky but if I had a musician partner who wrote love songs about me, if I loved listening to my partner sing, I'd love it. It wouldn't be about other's perceptions, I'd be STOKED to hear them sing.

That's something I've found is hard about being in a long term, unhealthy relationship I was clingy, and so much of their enjoyments became MY enjoyments And I'm learning to separate the two I genuinely loved going to goth night. I genuinely love the music This is something I'd like to hold onto

Going to something like this not tied to my ex (who was a goth) is really healing Its something I enjoy so much that I don't have to have tied to them I'm taking enjoyment in things they introduced me to without it being for them Its for myself

With this, it definitely hurts. The part where I feel lied to and disrespected. BUT it's a big push for me to actually start seeing other people. It's been over a year. I can move on. Gotta be thankful for the lessons learned, for the good times had, and just continue on with my life. :)
