Maybe we should try to fix violent people with mind altering substances like LSD or Ecstasy before we dispose of them. Most likely, violence and mind bending mistreatment broke them. Inhumane confinement and torture doesn't rehabilitate anyone and only increases the cruelty capacity of the state

WV is perennially one of the poorest states in the nation. If as a college sports you want to watch even ONE game a year on TV you have to first give some billionaires over a thousand dollars a year. Meanwhile, Ohio State & Michigan & Notre Dame & USC & UCLA & a few others are on free TV every week

They used to say that the airwaves belonged to the people. The FCC used the Fairness Doctrine to provide a voice for dissent & it also encouraged diversity in thought expression. I worked with a crazy old biker who got religion & became a preacher because his bike caught on fire. He ignored a leaking carburetor until it ignited while he was riding it. To me it was a lack of motorcycle maintenance but to him it was an act of god, both starting the fire & living afterwards.

UPDATE: Behold the Garage Mahal in all her glory. Happy with the way it's turned out, the materials are strong & it was well constructed. I'd recommend this type of structure to anyone who wants to put in a garage. The cement pad was expensive but the building itself was reasonable with upgrades.

ProPublica reports that the EPA is cutting inspection and maintenance on hundreds of thousands of low producing gas wells. These wells have pump jacks and rubber bushings that well tenders can adjust to keep from losing gas. They just don't want anyone repairing or maintaining equipment. Stupid idea

When I think back 25 years or so I'm reminded of two different attempts to murder me. In their defense, I'm not a big guy so I looked like an easy target.
