Just read Eliot Rahal & Mattia Monaco’s Crimes Against Nature #1 from @imagecomics.com—fantastic! It does what a good first issue does: introduces interesting characters and situations and then turns it all upside-down—in the best possible way! Wake the neighbors! Phone the kids! This one’s great!

Comic Book Covers I Love - The Amazing Spider-Man no. 135 by John Romita Keeping up with a series was tough in a small town in '70s: next issues weren't always guaranteed so this one escaped me in my youth. HOWEVER, I had the Mead folder! #comicsky #spider-man #romita

So, my family and I loved #Spider-ManBrandNewDay. But since they don't know a lot about comics or even comics-based movies, I had to explain who the Sadie Sink character is. (Well, I didn't have to, but after the movie, they wanted to know what the audible gasps were about when her name popped up.)

It started with Superboy #184; that cover leapt off the spinner rack. I also met the Legion of Super-Heroes for the first time and, from a reprint, learned about Robby Reed and the H Dial. Quite a treasure trove for 25¢. I knew I wanted more of these…”comics!?”

I’ve been reading comics for over fifty years, and I never tire of them. There’s always a good story—several, in fact. I love seeing new takes on old concepts and characters, a variety of genres, artwork that leaps off the page and/or invites me into the story. Comics are still fun! #comicsky
