A few months ago, Mathieu Gerber and I uploaded regMMD, a R package for robust regression and estimation through MMD. Today, Hidde Fokkema @hiddefokkema.bsky.social shared a Python version: Link: github.com/HiddeFok/reg... Doc: hiddefok.github.io/reg-mmd-scik... Thanks so much Hidde 🙏🙏

We have posted a new paper on arXiv. Missing data are often a major challenge in solar power forecasting. In this paper, we propose a method based on multiple imputation to propagate uncertainty from missing values into predictive distributions.

Our paper on missing-value imputation has just been published in Transactions of the Machine Learning Research (TMLR)! Our kNNSampler recovers missing-value distributions with theoretical guarantees, while being as simple as kNNImputer. openreview.net/forum?id=4CD...

f you're looking for a place to share your ideas on computation and inference, with likeminded, friendly colleagues who give earnest, technically deep feedback, mark your calendars for 9-11 September 2026, because next year, we're going to Finnland, thanks to Toni Karvonen!
