Ahh that’s so sweet. PAPYRUS IS ABSOLUTELY ROOTING FOR YOU 😭

Moth🔞 @mothtale.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

Not even just the game, but the community that came after it gave me a reason to stay, but more than that, gave me a place I could process my trauma in a safe way. “But it refused” got me through A LOT. I still talk to the people I met through Undertale. They mean the world to me fr 😭

Ahh same! This is gonna sound dark but at the time I had gotten a second job because I wanted to be able to pay for my own funeral without burdening my family and I was in the middle of saving up when I started Undertale

Moth🔞 @mothtale.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

I just felt like yapping. I love Undertale 😭

Moth🔞 @mothtale.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

I was thinking about it today and I think Undertale is the reason I stayed kind through everything that’s happened to me. Every time I see “Despite everything it’s still you” I have a VISCERAL reaction

Moth🔞 @mothtale.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

I fear when I say “Undertale saved my life” people think I’m exaggerating but this game genuinely means everything to me. Playing Undertale rewired my brain and changed how I interact with the world in a way I still recognize today

EXACTLY! it feels so nice! And you feel like you’re making genuine friends when you’re connecting with other artists/writers because you know there aren’t any ulterior motives. It’s why I’m never scared to start over on a new platform or account 😂

I’m not a self shipper but I think the closest I’ve ever been is with Sans fucking Undertale. If I didn’t hate myself istg I would have a self insert character already

Not that I don’t want people to see my art, but I love the beginning stage a lot. Feels more intimate

110

Moth🔞 @mothtale.bsky.social · 24/01/2025

I really love making new accounts because I know barely anyone is going to see my stuff for a long time so it feels more like I’m drawing for myself. Like there’s none of that “I don’t think people are going to like this so I won’t post it” because I’m drawing this for me and like 10 other guys

I personally think Fell should have won all three years (I’m a gd simp) but I do love Error so I’ll accept it I remember the creator of glitchtale getting a bunch of hate for being really rude at one point, I think that other stuff came out after I left the fandom

110

Moth🔞 @mothtale.bsky.social · 24/01/2025

WAIT WHICH AU WON??? If it wasn’t Underfell Sans I’m calling for a recount

010

Moth🔞 @mothtale.bsky.social · 24/01/2025

LMAO I didn’t expect to remember all those names 😂😂 also fucking yikes about Glitchtale 😅

Moth🔞 @mothtale.bsky.social · 24/01/2025

Moth🔞 @mothtale.bsky.social · 24/01/2025

I joined the fandom in 2015 when the game first came out! I left around 2018/2019 I THINK. ALSO HOW MANY CREATORS DID WE LOSE??? I need to find these. Are these bullshit cancels because they drew something the fandom didn’t like, or did they commit crimes? 😂

Just some dudes chilling at the bar. I almost didn't want to finish this. Actually this isn't finished at all. Too lazy to colour it. Killer belongs to RahafWabas Dust belongs to Ask-DustTale Horror belongs to Sour-Apple-Studios

I think making Sans fat was the best possible design choice. Makes me ABSOLUTELY FUCKING FERAL. *Alexa, play “Cuffing Season” by SZA*

Moth🔞 @mothtale.bsky.social · 24/01/2025

I feel like I’m gonna have to do a deep dive into what’s happened since I left the fandom 😂 I remember the fandom as a whole being really chill, but I know fandom spaces have evolved a lot.

Moth🔞 @mothtale.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

I just want all my Undertale art on this account #mothdraws

Moth🔞 @mothtale.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

We are in fact still using undertail 🙏😩 thank GOD

140

Moth🔞 @mothtale.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

I feel like such an outsider rn, I used to know EVERYTHING about what was going on in the Undertale fandom and now I know NOTHING. Do yall still use the #undertail tag??? The creator of Glitchtale was CANCELLED??? I’m so behind on fandom lore now. We’re still making Sans kiss himself, right?
