Pair them with the termie sorcerer and make that a -2 ap, or kravek for the ap and wound rerolls :)

Moth Minis 🏳️‍🌈 @mothminis.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

it felt pretty similar to their normal acrylics consistency wise but actually isnt supposed to be thinned like normal weirdly enough

it takes some getting used to, like i said youre supposed to actually kinda glob it on and when you do it goes on pretty good but like i did mess that up a bit on the ork

Went to my local warhammer shop today to try out the new tone pro paints and I can't lie Im pretty impressed with them. Im shocked how well the white and pink went on especially compared to their old ones. It's just a bit weird to use you have to apply them heavy out the pot #warhammer #minipainting

man, i hate having the coolest idea for a kitbash but like i dont want to buy 4 boxes of terminators... I want to put cataphractii arms onto the chaos termies (mostly because apparently archie's forge doesnt sell IW pauldrons anymore)

Moth Minis 🏳️‍🌈 @mothminis.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

010

Moth Minis 🏳️‍🌈 @mothminis.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

those new ork nobz definitely make me happy that i decided to start orks for my xenos army, my god they look so good. The bikes are amazing too!

010

Moth Minis 🏳️‍🌈 @mothminis.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Moth Minis 🏳️‍🌈 @mothminis.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

While I couldn't get what I was planning fully committed into the real world, I absolutely could not get the other arm ro work how I wanted it. But I think it works. I want my chaos marines to all look like... I dunno walking terrors? A tyrannical raider in a legion of them

Did a little building today from the Armageddon box. I did the characters, van vets, and eradicators so far. I'm actually a bit surprised how easy they actually were to build because the push fit models I've done before were rough so this was nice. #warhammer40k

Moth Minis 🏳️‍🌈 @mothminis.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

So yeah guess I decided the xenos army I'll do is gonna be orks. I'm going to eventually try and make it into a speed freeks type army and fill it out with some buggys, bikes, and definitely wazdakka. The marines I'll be doing in my Ashen Knights colors maybe with a few conversions here and there

Moth Minis 🏳️‍🌈 @mothminis.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

Also I've got like five straight days off of work so I'm going to try and go crazy on the models

Moth Minis 🏳️‍🌈 @mothminis.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

I'm alive! I finally did something! I painted the hazard stripes and trim on this maulerfiend finally. I've still got much more to do for it but I'm just happy to finally make progress. Btw her name is Princess and she doesn't bite I promise. #warhammer40k #nerdlings

The Inquisition doesn't want you to know this but the hormagaunts at Segmentum Ultima are free, you can just take them home. I have 458 hormagaunts at the watch fortress.

If you've got an air fryer get bone-in chicken thighs, heavily season them and cook them skin side up at 400 for about 15 min or so. the skin gets nice and crispy goes good with whatever like some rice and beans or something

Moth Minis 🏳️‍🌈 @mothminis.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

Exodites this week!! Even tho I really should wait for their standalone release I think I gotta get the box this week

Hm I don't mind a bit of overhang but Im thinking maybe depending on their articulation if I can make some terrain to pose it on to help fit it better

010

Moth Minis 🏳️‍🌈 @mothminis.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

Actually I wonder if anyone knows if you can squeeze a leviathan dread on a 60mm base rather than it's 80mm? #warhammer40k

140

Moth Minis 🏳️‍🌈 @mothminis.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

I might just end up getting it all separately though because I could.just grab a venomcrawler 2nd hand since I made the saturnine oblits, stick with cawdor for cultists, and I really don't think I need a 5th set of legionaries lol

000

Moth Minis 🏳️‍🌈 @mothminis.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

Anyone know if the current chaos marines battleforce has the kill team upgrade sprue for the legionaries? I'm debating getting it because I want the discordant, venomcrawler, and cultists but like man idk if I need even more legions

Moth Minis 🏳️‍🌈 @mothminis.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

I made some horchata today! It came out so good and refreshing in this heat :)

050

Moth Minis 🏳️‍🌈 @mothminis.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Damn I really haven't gotten anything done in a while, lacking in motivation I guess lately but here's some cawdor I built for cultists. Fr tho this kit was ass to build with those spindly polearms and non existent wrist joints #warhammer40k

050

Moth Minis 🏳️‍🌈 @mothminis.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

Yeah fair, the maulerfiend and demon prince with all the claws and spiky bits had to be some of the most painful models I've worked on so far

020

Moth Minis 🏳️‍🌈 @mothminis.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

god I swear that in the time it takes me to do just the trim on a chaos marine I could complete a loyalist marine start to finish. I love chaos marines but man when im doing trim I really question why i decided to do them
