#mothbestiary #mothbeingeart 004 - Phorysdale Redid the font again. more readable maybe

Bio: "Gracefully prancing and roaming between meadows and deep forests, one
will rarely find herds of 3-5 of these beasts passing through at night.
Phorysdale' have been observed kicking tree to bits in order to find and
drink large amounts of sap. Many believe that were it not for its
skittish temperament and short lifespan that it would make a strong
and beautiful draft animal, a fact which hasn't stopped people from
trying. Despite their physical prowess, Phorysdale' are unusually docile
and rarely fight back, opting to run from threats to their person. Were
they more aggressive and pushed to fight harder they could be difficult
enemies, thankfully they are merely a beautiful and vaunted fauna."

#mothbesitary #mothfyart 003 - Ruester now with family symbols. "Raptaur" family for this one (birds is dinos). excuse the typos as well, by the time i spotted a couple i couldn't revert it to a state where i could edit the text.

BIO- Scrappy and boisterous beasts known for their unreasonable demeanor. They are one of the first somewhat threatening encounters for a rookie, Slaying one solo is considered a rite of passage in some circles. Lacking in almost any self-preservation or grasp of when they're outmatched, they impetuously challenge anything in its line of sight. Their 3 legs can twist & bend to strike at odd angles and chase its target down. On rare occasions they may even use a sonic shriek to to disorient its foe. It is theorized to be a desperate move, a mating call meant for mating seasons which may attract other Ruester & cause infighting during a battle, an otherwise rare survival instinct for the reckless raptaur.

#mothbestiary 002 - Dormace Updated the page a bit. still not sure what to do with the second circle or if the first one is fitting.

NO.2 - Dormace
Title: Smashing Rodent
Avg Weight: 14 Lbs
Avg Height: 3ft 2 in
Lifespan: 7 years
Family: Pest
"An Omnivorous beast which many rookie pest hunters encounter early on, they use their mace-like tail to defend themselves or break into places
which store food. Caution is advised when approaching one even when not
caught pilfering food, they are easily spooked and provoked due to being
common targets for predators or extermination quests. They are often
times recruited as a beast tamer's first partner due to their decent
intelligence compared to most pests, a simple but effective style of combat,
and for having no specific diet or preference."

#mothbestiary 001- Mothball the first part of this project. there's a couple of things i need to retool, such as the font for the 5th time (make more readable, fix lowercase d which looks like an s) and a couple things need moving around, but moth is still very happy with the groundwork laid out.

Name "Mothbal"l Class: Buglike
Characteristic: Persistent, Pestilent, Abundant

Entry: This ubiquitous pest can be found in every corner of the continent, although they are most often seen near forests or farming communities. Groups of them tend to wander into populated areas and create disruptions by dancing around and spreading urticating hairs. This behavior earns them the ire of many, but their low threat level makes them popular targets for extermination among rookie adventurers."

I think its just trouble trying to maintain fundamentals and shapes when I downscale? If that makes sense? I think I did pretty *OK* for a subject like this but there are some noticeable issues (one right most claws weird extra extended finger, the middle "heads" left part is a bit unclear .)

Here's the one thing I finished on my failed break I suppose. It was meant as a retry of my earlier QumuIo rework from my favorite mons indie game I won't shut up about ever, before it spiraled into this, which im not sure fits the spirit of the idea but is still cool I think? #MothfyArt #Art
