I've made a 3d model of my sona for vrchat before, and needless to say that shit was HARD. And it still came out pretty buggy. I have massive respect for 3d modelers, so seeing the CEO basically call making models from 2d art this replaceable middle step is just such a load of shit

Monster hunter wilds is actually my favorite MH game, for the record. I think it looks really nice, the seasons/weather gimmick is neat, the combat and wound system is fun if a bit over tuned, and the monster behavior feels incredibly natural (cont.)

I'm not here to hate on it, like, if you thought this direct was the best thing ever then fuck yeah It just felt like a weird one to me. Less bad, more weird. Maybe if metroid was the first one rather than the port of the game that famously can't run on anything, my mindset would be different.

I do think it's worth mentioning that this direct's spotlight has less games than almost every other direct. And one of them is a year old game not by nintendo. I thought maybe the majority of games just weren't my thing but it seems even Nintendo thinks most of this wasn't noteworthy

I wasn't sure whether to believe it at first, mostly because there were no thumbnails on the p6 achievements, and I don't know anything about exophase but others having very professional looking thumbnails and the fact some are on steamdb now kinda confirms it Someone pressed the wrong button lol

It's always funny seeing people endlessly hate on artificer's campaign because it was by far one of the easiest for me. I imagine I just got really lucky, cuz honestly the only place I had issue with was the leg because of all the spiders. Everything else went pretty smoothly besides the bossfight
