Exploitative systems eventually produce someone willing to be honest in their actions for the elites. Trump's a symptom not the disease.

I have so many ideas that I think are good and no one listens, no one cares. Like how we should use the tax code to encourage more jobs in the US, how to actually do a wealth tax, books I've written or am writing that no one will ever read. Sigh. Like at least tell me why you think it's bad, but no

Andy Burnham is following the Mamdani playbook in the UK do far and just doing stuff that is little and doesn't require massive spending or approval but just functionally makes life better like making school supplies cheaper and allowing for alternate legal IDs

I was down to really just one hobby that involved going out in public and interacting with people and it's pretty clear that's dead now. So I talk to no one. Just waiting for my wife to go why am I married to this loser and leave with the kid.

My 2 year old just got through a verse of Itsy Bitsy Spider and consequently declared himself the best singer ever

How'd that right wing turn work out for you CNN

Everton can put a front 6 out who are all 24 and younger and be competitive. If they had signed 2 fullbacks and a striker people would say they are built very well instead of a potential truck fire

Also it's wild to me that if you rolled back the Bush and Trump tax cuts we'd have a balanced budget. But nobody wants to be responsible because voters in the US are dumb.

It's mind blowing to me that if you just undid the Bush and Trump tax cuts you'd have a balanced US budget

I still think it's kind of funny that Trump is so incompetent at business and making money that he had to basically corrupt the entire US government and do multiple crypto and betting scams just to get as wealthy as former soccer player Louis Saha

If you're wondering why companies aren't too worried about what happens when no one has a job after AI, this is your reminder that the top 10% of earners in the US already cover almost 2/3rds of all consumer spending.

So it looks like Russia is planning to invade the Baltic states in the next few days, expanding the war to Nato. Will the US support their treaty commitments? Looks like Putin is pressuring Trump to not do so

Someone better sing 200 million to be bottom of the league at Spurs this year

I scrap all my previous predictions and declare now Brentford will win the league this year. I wrote a short story titled Brentford Could Win the League last year and I now think that was psychic

My 2.5 year old just fell asleep for nap with his book on his face and I feel like I've parented correctly so far

Not super encouraging to see a Democrat appointed judge ruling that Child Porn is okay (as long as it's AI)

Just listening to high school.kods talking about how much they're up or down on Draft Kings (one kids down $6k but he'll get it back apparently) and thinking about how Kyla Scanlon is really right a lot about the modern economy

Like, the president of the US threatened to bomb the, uh, bond market and people are just like Yeah whatever that's the world we're in now

Everything in life is just shit all the time. I can't even enjoy sports anymore because NBCUniversal spun off USA network for tax purposes and now suddenly I can't watch my favorite sports team in the US most of the time.

So an application asked if I had a bachelor's degree in a specific field (I do not, I have a master's degree in said specific field), of course it said I did not match the requirements.I did put it in the application question that since I had a Graduate level degree in the field I would be rejected

The Hayden Panettiere story is tragic. And I wonder if Russia is involved, she was married to a Ukranian PM at one point.

Stat of the day: In the last 35 years, paychecks have grown 18%, house values have grown 66%. And Capital investments (aka stock) have grown 1500% .

If your income isn't from capital gains, an S-Corp, and dividends almost exclusively, you aren't rich.

How do people not just hate themselves all the time? I can't seem to find any reason not to.

Especially if they can get Enciso in, Ipswich may be the team to beat the drop this year. Diop is a huge get. I still like their wingers, and Maeda is nice depth. As long as Leif Davis stops getting a red card every third game they look pretty ok in the back too.

If any non-promoted EPL team is in trouble this year (which, I feel like the promoted teams are pretty weak and aren't making the signings needed), it may be Fulham. Silva had a great run there, and they've done almost nothing for the second straight summer. And lost Jimenez...

Barry N'Diaye-KDH-Johnson Garner-Norgaard Mykolenko-Tark-Branthwait e-Rohl (or signing a RB) Pickford This could be an upper mid table side sure. It'll be better than Blackburn at least my spouse doesn't read this I'm fine

Everton just swapped a 27 year old who cost 20 mil 4 years ago for a 25 year old who cost 35 mil last January wild.
