I don't think you understand the difference between NYC and LA. In NYC people don't actually do anything in the winter except go to indoor places. LA has outdoor spaces and parking. Even someone living in a high rise along the E line has a car and uses it all the time.

I think you are missing the fact that some people want a house and nothing else. So even if you build a ton of apartments the houses will still go up in price because since you aren't building any new ones the demand goes up. Then you'll make posts like this not realizing the irony.
