To update, we have an apartment lined up and approved, but since it low income housing we are waiting for the income to be approved. Could take anywhere from a week to two months. We are currently in a hotel. Any funds for food, bills, other necessities, etc would be highly appreciated.

So good-ish news, the apartment granted us an agreement to vacate, so no eviction on our record. Yay. The date we need to be out is April 27th. We plan to search for apartment now. So hopefully that goes smoothly.

Update, despite the rent assistance reaching out awhile ago they have yet to make their final decision and the eviction court date this Monday… so we’re back to not knowing if we’re moving again. I am so sorry, I thought we were safe. I should have known it was too good to be true.
