For me, I keep wanting to make art bc even if I see good stuff out there, it's almost never exactly what I want/how I would do it if I had the skill + it's cool to make things I want when I want it. I remind myself that when I start to compare, or just stop looking at the stuff that's upsetting me.

I'm still figuring it out but right now my strategy is to severely limit how much I look at others' work at all, and to notice why I keep wanting to make art when I'm not worrying about other people's skills and my own.

!! & bc it was coined partly to address the fact that not all transgender people want sex reassignment surgery, it's also had the effect of somewhat synonymizing "trans" with "cissexual," which has just transferred the invisibility to transexual people and sparked unproductive and divisive arguments

💯^^^ one of the many reasons to study anatomy for stylized art styles. It allows you to draw characters of any weight in a realistically derived (and thus flattering) way, as opposed to being locked with only one silhouette that gets read as attractive.

Where did I say we're voting for dem supporters? Reread my reply. I was responding to the 2 parties being "vague." Voting for either party is bad, but it's because one says "I'm gonna stab you!" and the other says "I won't stab you!" while handing the other one a knife.

You're right that Reps do this. It's the abuser playbook. But please look at what Dems are doing when no ones looking. Eg Seattle's all-Dem city council is trying to roll back their ethics code to make conflict of interest meaningless. Both parties serve corporations thanks to citizens united vs FEC

It's both *parties*, not both sides. The difference is that one party is taking advantage of its supporters by using their hate, and the other is taking advantage of its supporters caring about people. Democrats are not on the same side as their supporters. We need grassroots resistance to both.

The original image (left) I drew ~2 years ago, when I first came up with Jack. I then switched to CSP from Procreate, so when I decided to make it again I just redrew it from scratch without looking for the original. I finally went digging for it when I wanted to trace the HUD details and holy wow

I take commissions! Pricing is as shown. More info on my carrd but the basic process is 1. Send a request through the site 2. We talk details and draft a sketch 3. 50% payment up front and I start working on the piece, the other 50% when you review progress on the piece at the halfway mark.
