Wrote and illustrated a piece on the VRC Event Phantom Sands by @noxvitae.bsky.social for @mosaic-vrc.bsky.social Check out the Substack edition here!: open.substack.com/pub/quantump... #GonzoJournalism #VRChat #VRC #VRClubs #Illustrated #art #Illustrated #EDM #Raver #housemusic #Techno

Illustrated nightclub scene, framed in deep purple: a cavernous sandstone chamber pulses with neon light from a giant circular portal-screen, its blue-and-magenta waves swirling hypnotically. Silhouetted dancers throw their arms up around a DJ booth set into the ring. In the right foreground stands SpacedFictional—short-haired, beret askew, off-shoulder striped top—holding a handheld tape recorder and a lit joint. Patterned spotlights slice through haze toward an open skylight, where a massive jackal-headed statue outside peers down onto the dance floor. A small flame sconce flickers on the left wall.
