Good for you! I started running and strength training when giving up smoking, then covid wfh pounds added too much heft. Taking out garbage and so many other things that had become difficult were suddenly easy again.

My sentiments exactly. I'm not sure where my primary vote goes now, but I really don't like the tone of El-Sayed or his supporters. It isn't a battle of right vs wrong. I also wish Stevens would disavow some of the nastier ads promoting her. We're better than this.

40 years ago, my car payment was about $200/mo. $1k/mo compared with that isn't horrible (minimum wage $3+/hr vs $13+/hr today). But the rush for SUVs and pickups is absurd when something like a Ford Fiesta or Honda Fit would do the job well for most of us; better for our wallets and the planet.
