A drawing of a girl with white skin and pink short hair. She is wearing headphones plugged into a MP3 player she is holding. Her pose is energetic, as if dancing to the music. The background is 2000s inspired frutiger metro.

a drawing of the original character Noir Morozov AKA 76days76nights. Noir lays on his back with his hands behind his head, and his feet kicked up and resting on a set of amps and speakers. He is black with hair cut in a mohawk, the longer part being tight curls covering where his arms behind his head. His face is turns away from the viewer. His clothing is a black tank top with blue stripes, and purple string tied in an "X" pattern down the sides. He wears a black belt around his waist that hands off to the side. He has "tripp" shorts down below his knees that are black and have neon yello-green accessories. His shoes are large sneakers that are black with white toes. The background is a frutiger metro design. There are bold black strips behind a bursting collection of thick ringed white and black circles. Behind the circles are swirling, curved arrows pointing to the right. There are various music notes and stars scattered around. The arrows, music notes, and stars are neon purple or neon yellow-green. There is a thick border around the image that is white.

An image of a human with dark brown skin and very long, spiky red hair. She has both hand raised, resting on her head, with her index fingers pointed up. She is wearing bracelets, a white shirt, white sneakers, and dark green pants with flower and swirl patterns on them. The background red, black and white. It has a rough texture, with numerous circles and drips.

spike in the punch @morrysillusion.net · 30/07/2025

so i never thought this would be an issue but my work regarding Penrose is now in a weird place thanks to this mastercard/visa shit and how i intended to share it through itch.io in whatever form it ended up being. the vagueness and broadness of what they are -

spike in the punch @morrysillusion.net · 23/06/2025

i had intended to get on a new update for Twisted Roots but, im at a weird spot storywise where im unsure how soon i will approach the "start" of actual Penrose, if i want to do that I need to better know what it will continue into as well. i am also working on an information website for it as well.

There's a lot on this new post about "Mystica's Web"?? A whole text file this person saved from it. And someone else actually had a screenshot of the website too

A partial screenshot of a text file coming from the Mystica's Web forum thread on Twistedroots.net. In large ascii art text are the words "Mystica's Web" and below are the words " Welcome! To the mystical website of MYSTICA!!!

I am your host to this lovely little place, that I am forever thankful you stumbled across... How did you get here, anyways? I don't think I heard the front door open...

If you have this file that means you're here, right? You didn't steal it from someone else??? I hope not!

As you can see the page you're upon is very... very... very long and I admittedly cannot judge if you don't wish to read it.
Whats important if that you pay attention here- to THIS file. As this special little .txt file houses the most important of my wisdoms... and take a little adventure with me.
You were born with an incredibly long road ahead. You are too young to see what its made of... is it brick? Or... dirt? You want something easy on your feet, yes?
Let's start walking then. Its whatever you want it to be, friend.". It is followed by ascii art of a forest, which is cut off. The scroll bar on the window implies the text is much longer.

A screen shot of the offline website "Mystica's Web" linked in the twistedroots.net thread. It is a simple website with a purple tile background. In large comic sans font is the words "Mystica's Web World" in blue with two earth gifs on either side. It is followed by a purple dragon divider. There are more gifs of a wizard surrounded by Earth and after is the text "Welcome to the home of Mystica
I am your web master on this website... and it is, I promise, very complete! Do not mind the cracks and ducktape. An adventure awaits, curated just for you!" there is a small red dragon gif on the left side of the page. More text reads "Click on the pages below, they will take you to all the places you could ever dream of... and every Friday there is a new one!" Below is a list of text files:
The mad king.

Into the Magic Veil.

Fall of the Time Dragon.

The Chase.

The last is cut off.

its been 2 years since my initial Yuma Synth V design and i redrew him for the new engine release and a cover i made. just a quick doodle

a fan made design of the Synthesizer V voice Yuma. The character is standing in a dynamic pose, with one leg bent and his arms out from his sides, and a neutral expression. He is skinny, has pale skin, and a mullet hair cut; the top half being blonde and bottom half being black. He wears an orange shirt with a frutiger metro design, a ripped fishnet arm warmer on his left arm, a spiked bracelet on his right arm, and baggy green cargo pants. His belt is black and the extended length of it is loose, hanging off his pants. His pants are low rise, and the edge of his briefs can be seen. He is wearing dark green boots. On his face, Yuma has spiked lip piercings, earrings, and brow stubs. He also has dark eyeshadow, green eyes, and light facial hair.

Eon, a strange black wolf, stands holding a large knife in his left hand, resting the end of it on the tip of his right index finger. He has two golden horns, large bright cyan teeth, and two extra open eyes on his shoulders. There is a bit of blood on the sharp edge of the knife, as well as a splatter of it across his face.

variety of doodles and concept art for Penrose/Twisted Roots

an image with multiple sketches of characters. On the right side is a sketch of the character Mick being held by her boyfriend, Hayden. Below is a sketch of Hayden and his brother, Steven listing information about them that states Hayden and Steven's last name is Wong. Hayden is an ex-skater and frat boy, Steven is a trans girl egg and a furry. Hayden has a long face with short hair that covers the right side of his face and eye. Steven has shoulder length hair that is pulled back with a band. On the left side of the page is a sketch of the character Eden, who has a square face and long fluffy hair. Her skin and hair are all a monotone dark grey, with one white streak in her hair. She is posed at a side view with her head looking behind her. Below that sketch is a cropped window of Hayden but with color. His skin and hair are both a pale, light grey-blue color.

whitetheshepard doodles #oc

An image of a character from Twistedroots.net named White AKA Steven Wong. It shows n uncolored drawing of him from the chest up. He is wearing a blank tank top, loose sweatshirt, and multiple necklaces. He has slanted eyes, a square face, and his hair is long and pulled back by a headband. On the right side of the page is a female anthro wolf-dog wearing a t-shirt, a necklace with a moon on it, and hair pulled into a pony tail. On the image is text saying "fursona" with an arrow pointing from Steven to the furry. It is labelled as "White" for the name and "female wolfdog"

An uncolored sketch comic featuring the characters White AKA Steven Wong from Twistedroots.net and his brother Hayden Wong. The first portion has Hayden saying "Why is your sona a girl? Isn't it supposed to be you?" With Steven staring blankly at him. The next portion has Steven thinking, and a transparent Transgender flag behind him. The last portion of the comic has Steven respond with "I don't know? Does it matter??" while looking confused.

youll probably see straight and cis normative things in this story but by no means will it lack nuanced conversation about the era of society in the early 2000s and how trans and non-hetero identities were viewed

020

spike in the punch @morrysillusion.net · 13/03/2025

i often have trans characters in other stories but in this case id like to have someone whos not come out/doesnt realize, especially due to the time it takes place. its 2005 and realizing identities like that is not gonna just happen (theres other chars this will apply to was well)
