A deeply atmospheric scene of the bay of Vivec. I just love it when the fog rolls into the bay like this. Baar Dau looks a bit ominous there, but I think it's a cool shot! #Morrowind #TheElderScrolls #TES #Vivec #Screenshots
The harbor of Vivec City lays covered in fog and mist, a deeply overcast sky above. The Ministry of Truth, Baar Dau, hangs above the city like a prophesied Damocles' Sword.

Beat the heat, visit Solstheim! I hear there's a boat in Khuul if you've got reason to go. #Morrowind #TheElderScrolls #TES #Screenshots
Snow showers are falling from a grey and overcast sky, dotting a forested landscape of pine trees that stretch into the misty distance. A mountain rises up on the left, where the peak nearly reaches the top of the screen.

Taking a Sundas stroll along the rough and wild shores of Morrowind's beautiful Azura's Coast region. And would you look at that, not a cliff racer in sight! (don't look behind the camera) #Morrowind #TES #TheElderScrolls
The rough-hewn stony shores of the Azura's Coast are cast in golden glow by the rising morning sun. A low fog clings to the water, with hundreds of menhirs dotting the shoreline and the numerous little isles that make up Vvardenfell's eastern coast.A narrow waterway in the Azura's Coast is cast in shadow by the morning dawn, light trickling in on the horizon that hasn't yet pierced this tiny vale. Menhirs and giant parasol mushrooms stand out amidst the morning fog, while great rocky crags poke up along the distant horizon.

Today is Morrowind's 24th Birthday! Nearly a quarter of a century ago, The Elder Scrolls: III Morrowind was released on May 1st of 2002. Thanks to mods, the game looks a lot different than it did all those years ago, but without doubt, it's still my all-time favorite game! #Morrowind #TES
The Vivec city skyline is outlined by the rising morning sun, the city's canals, bridges and cantons cast into a foggy shadow by the coming of the dawn. Faint lights can be made out along the canton's upper walkways, and the distant figure of a Dwemer tower can be seen far off in the distance. An aerial view of the city of Vivec, with the cantons of the city sitting upon the Norvayn Bay of the Ascadian Isles. Near the center of the scene is the floating Ministry of Truth, Baar Dau, and to the far left, the city's great seawall stretches across the bay, with the occasional gate to allow the passing of ships.

Featuring the jungle environments of Black Marsh, a number of unique puzzles, and quests that delve deep into the lore of the Morag Tong and the Hist, The Unhatched is truly a one of a kind adventure, and one of the most ambitious undertakings of 2025! It fell just shy of both 1st and 2nd place.

A little screenshot of Tethered Tel Branora with Aetherwind today - you gotta love that mix of atmosphere and verticality! #Morrowind #TheElderScrolls #TES #Screenshots

The harbor of Andothren-sorry I mean Bal Foyen from Tamriel Rebuilt. The largest Hlaalu city on the Inner Sea, this city got a surprise name change in the Grasping Fortune update, reverting it back to it's original name from pre-2014 Tamriel Rebuilt. Name changes aside, it's still quite scenic!
Teal-ish-blue waters ebb and flow in the harbor of Bal Foyen, with little wooden docks stretching out along the shore, and Hlaalu buildings rising on all sides. A cargo ship sits at port, while in the background, a single Dwemer tower is illuminated by the morning sun.

Early dawn at Aryon's tower of Tel Vos - a gloriously beautiful scene of vertical splendor! #Morrowind #TheElderScrolls #TES #Screenshots
A large Imperial tower, interwoven with Telvanni roots, stretches into the sky above in the early morning light. Reddish clouds sprinkle the horizon, with patches of night sky still shinning through. A handful of Acacia trees dot the base of the tower, their branching limbs caught in silhouette by the early rays of morning light.

The tower of Tel Vos and the village of Vos, the two main settlements of the Grazelands - you'll note Masser is looming there in the background, a bit like a glaring eye. #Morrowind #TheElderScrolls #TES #Screenshots
A massive Imperial tower, covered in Telvanni roots, stretches into the sky, while in the foreground a Velothi-style settlement lines the coast, with a Telvanni root-style harbor where ships are docked, illuminated in atmospheric blue lighting. Just a little scenic shot of Balmora, the seat of Great House Hlaalu. No matter how many years past, revisiting Balmora always feels a bit like coming back home. #Morrowind #TheElderScrolls #TES
The morning sun rises above the Dwemer towers of Arkngthund on the horizon, golden rays highlighting the strider port and city streets of Balmora. A silt strider dominates the right-side of the screen, while the façade of the Lucky Lockup tavern is illuminated by the sun's morning light.

In all the hubbub with Tamriel Rebuilt's latest release, you may have missed another big mod update for Lyithdonea - The Azurian Isles, another major landmass mod for Morrowind. Melchior Dahrk's passion project, this mod adds the scenic and tropical Azurian Isles. #TheElderScrolls #TES #Morrowind
Evening light from a setting sun highlights a skyline of towers in a tropical city. A lighthouse sits in front of a harbor, ships docked at a busy waterfront, with city streets, lined with palm trees, leading away towards the towers in the distance.A bridge leads to a Velothi-style canton, surrounded by water, partially overgrown with tropical trees and vines. Jungles encroach along the river embankments, a canopy of trees and flowering plants.Early dawn upon a small Velothi waterfront town. One of the things I love most about Tamriel Rebuilt's city of Narsis is, naturally, the verticality. The sheer size and scale of Narsis is breathtaking, it feels like a real metropolis that you could get lost in but still easily navigate through the impressive use of vertical landmarks. #Morrowind
A busy city street forks in two directions, market stalls hugging the walls and dangling lanterns hanging from above. In the background, massive Hlaalu towers overlook the streets below.City streets and Hlaalu buildings sit low in the foreground, roads covered in a dusty mist that hangs in the air. In the background, the mesas of the Shipal-Shin Region reach into the sky.A paved street makes a meandering path through a variety of low-lying Hlaalu buildings. A pair of Redoran watchtowers stand on opposite shores of a large body of water, the sun twinkling low in the horizon. Upon the far shore, a forest of giant mushrooms is poking through the mist, giant fungal stems that stretch into the distance.A fortified Redoran gate guards the entrance into a walled Redoran compound. Outside the walls, a low mushroom bayou sits upon the shore of a lake. Two mushrooms on each side frame a small harbor with a handful of docked ships. On the horizon, overlooking the scene, is a bridge, dotted with various buildings in the Hlaalu architectural style.
