I wonder if part of the challenge is linking data to particular protected areas... In Tanzania for instance wildlife compensation is (in theory) organized by the district, and there can be multiple districts around multiple protected areas involving wildlife that move across multiple ecosystems

Since 2016 we have been fortunate to host Tanzanian conservation leaders thru the Karimjee MSc Conservation scholarship at the Univ Glasgow, a full ride 2-year scholarship, generously supported by a local Tanzanian NGO the Karimjee Foundation.
