Happy #tuxietuesday ! Nothing out de window, so Imb been playing wif tois and momb. So fun! Imb take a break now. Mabbe #hedgewatch momb until imb eep. Luv yuo all.

Salem, a tuxedo cat with whit face, chest and paws, rests his butt on a wooden file cabinet while resting his body on the arm of the couch, which is covered by a gray blanket. He is staring past the couch to his cat tree and the window, white paws draped before him. Nothing going on out there on a grey day. After the picture was taken, he shifted his gaze to mom, then mostly slid down the arm of the chair and curled up to sleep.

TiD is one of my fav Swedish groups. While not their typical fare, I love this song. Sung by Martin (Omega) Persner. He and Simon Söderberg, Arvid Persner, Bjorn Nilsson and Claudio Marino are amazing. This is Nadir from Fix Idé youtu.be/DW_Oxt_6vD8?...

Amb in da big chare. Helped dade figure out a fing called “no, please, not helping” and put dem wires places and den got ebryting off teevee stand onto flore so easy to find. (Dave had to replace a computer. Traded stuff in toward it and doing payments. Details in alt) #plundercats doing stuff

Salem the tuxie sits in a recliner with a grey cover and cat blanket on it. His nose, mouth, chest and paws are white. He is looking toward dad feeling very proud of himself. Dave’s computer died a while ago. We traded in and sold some older stuff toward a new Mac mini. We can afford the payments. Go us adulting.
Salem chased the flashlight and its reflections, which was so helpful, and was literally on top of things. I kept him distracted as much as I could. We played for half an hour in the bedroom. Then he heard the flashlight. Big help.

He slept a lot today. Figured meds. The got very jumpy, so I decided food before meds. Calm him a bit. He hissed while I was walking with him from the counter to the spot he eats. I’ll be wearing the thick jeans for a while. Easiest cat I’ve ever pilled, though. Only been 10 days since last attack.

It’s weird how accounts I interacted with for a long time turned on me and blocked me for quoting the website of DSA to disagree with them on constitutional grounds. Accused me of all kinds of things. Didn’t believe it was real. Obviously never went to their website. See for yourself.

Coming to terms with never seeing the ocean again. Never going back to Maine. Because living 12 hours at a time means the only upside to losing Charlie is gone. Say I am a good cat mom. But I regret all of this. Doing it anyway because the universe hates me. This is why I don’t have dreams/hopes.

I hope I live long enough to see ADULT humans not speaking like babies and blaming their cat or dog for it.
(And I blocked his ass. Because I am fluent in literary theories, have written 80-page theses on these theories and could have had things published, but lacked initiative. He deigns to believe that character voice choices indicate the intelligence of the author.
I am exhausted and lack a sense of humor at the moment. I am jumping off the soap box now.)

@all-the-cats.com ever watch lord of the rings? Me: Sméagol. Depression: Gollum. Fuck Gollum. Seriously. Depression brain and I have full-on fights. It loses eventually because nothing it says changes who I actually am. Focus on who you are and what you have and let him rot alone in a cave.

Neuro is team focal seizures. Got out of there for $300. Meds are ordered. Went with liquid because easier and I’m allergic to phenobarbitol, so less risk for me. He’s doing ok. She talked about reducing them, but not stopping them. Realistically. 1/2

I know the orange diaper has tried to shut out “enemy” press before. A stop to briefings might be more efective, with press releases sent out. There are ways around the first amendment. Until after midterms. Toddler will find one. Today, CNN, MSNow and Politico banned from WH. Tomorrow?

Had a list for staycation. Got almost zero of it done. All would have involved the kitchen and/or making noise. And the bicycle tires were too annoying. I yelled outside once and decided that was too loud as well. Did clean/vacuum (1st in 3 mos.) while he was contained. Now just regular weekend.

He is out. Sinking around afraid of everything. He did eat some and briefly laid down under the table. Also sharpened claws on scratcher. I am making plans to be gone for the day. I just can't do this. Dave said he's getting used to this. Same. Distrust, attacks and living silently are normal.
