while their eternal bonding will be held much, much later (possibly after inter-reflection travel is made possible, if ever), it was fun imagining the scions arriving, the groomsmen/bridesmaid party, etc of course, the scions wouldn't be the only ones invited, i just haven't gposed the other guests

mori @ 7.56 (spoilers up to Dawntrail🌅) @moringstars.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

i wish i knew how to take the scions’ summer glams to gpose with outside of trust dungeons… i searched for how but couldn’t find a way to, and they also have customized pieces so i couldn’t recreate the glams 1:1 i’d have loved gposing some summer adventures with them in island sanctuary :”)

i like the music at the unmoored isle, it's so final fantasy coded... idk how to explain, but it makes me nostalgic of my childhood and the games and media that shaped me in a sense

the scions having summer glamour from trust always made me happy so here's what i imagine visna could wear! i love her color scheme a lot that it inspired me to play dress up ;v;

mix-and-matched eternal bonding guest scions glamour (+ more)! 💭 estinien was probably forced to wear what he's wearing by tataru and krile (he was going to wear his armor to the wol's eternal bonding ceremony........)

my wol being a viera means i sometimes, randomly, think about how he's going to grow old and see his friends, close confidants and loved ones pass away one by one until he is left alone... this, on top of being wol = those around him will be targeted, is what stops him from pursuing love, i think..

mori @ 7.56 (spoilers up to Dawntrail🌅) @moringstars.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

notes on npcs that have something "note-worthy" to do with my wols...

mori @ 7.56 (spoilers up to Dawntrail🌅) @moringstars.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

a simplified relationship chart between my "wols" and the scions :)c next i'll do them with other notable npcs that play a bigger part in their stories.... i think.... 💭

my random hc of the day is that g'raha admires both freyr and cae and he most definitely has bi panic somewhere somehow sometimes.

is xiv lagging and having really bad connection issues for the past week for anyone else? i've tried wifi and my data but nothing seems to help...

I know I've grown older and hopefully more mature when nowadays I relate more to the older Archons' demeanors and vibes rather than the youngins of the group.... Like Shtola Than Uri? Yea das my crowd right there

some observations replaying endwalker with the knowledge i have now.... probably idle musings at best the more the omicrons' design reminds me of a garlean soldier's design.. and their story, too, also reminds me of what it could have been for the garleans had they stayed their current course...

[mild 7.56 spoilers] hw gang! hw gang! later for evercold, cae's going as whm and freyr as rpr; we've come full circle somehow bc back in hw cae was whm and freyr was drg (maiming class) :") oh how my pookies have grown... (also yes that's her side eyeing alphi and visna knowingly)

mori @ 7.56 (spoilers up to Dawntrail🌅) @moringstars.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

WAIT. i joked about the hringhorni roegadyn dude in the trailer being Hoary Boulder's shard, but now that I think of it and after just playing through Aitiascope on Caoimhe last night, I think... it's his instead...

sometimes i take a look at my OOOOLLLDDD old xiv screenshot folder to reminisce my first few days of it... like wow yeah these were my max level friends i played with back then who carried my sprout butt! and this was the wedding where i know the groom but not the bride BUT TWO YEARS LATER-

replaying while larping as cae means that i get to see hidden dialogue options that only activate if i play healer during that specific cutscene bc,,, WHAT. I never knew this was an option! 😭 i know back in early stormblood krile says something if you play healer but that's about it....

some freyr refs~ this format is more so for my own reference when i want to draw him or for cm'ing an xiv artist (hence the minimum info / pictures since i assume they'd know how reapers, vipers etc hold their weapons) i wish my laptop was stronger to produce clearer sc's but this has to suffice..

also this is the first time i'm replaying endwalker since early access 2021, and back then the docks were FLOCKED with so many people (and they hadn't implemented the disappearing gimmick near Quest NPCs) so i didn't notice all the Scions were there! i thought it was just tataru waiting for us...

one of my favorite NPC tag-along quests to date, still. i'd reckon the city tour would have taken their first whole day, where the Scions arrived at dawn, finished immigration and stuff at 10 AM ish and started touring by lunch all the way to dinner time, give or take. Then they finish up by-

2021 VS 2026 (pre and post graphics update) looking back, i remember not liking the first beta of the graphics update before they tweaked it pre-DT, and now comparing these screenshots, boy am I glad they buffed the graphics... i'm currently replaying EW on my alt which prompted this idea,,

mori @ 7.56 (spoilers up to Dawntrail🌅) @moringstars.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

as per usual, even though nowadays it doesn't seem like the norm to do so (?), I'll be abiding by the 2-weeks spoilers embargo for the most recent patch. I do have a lot I want to say about it though... lots of good things and speculations........

currently just finished replaying 5.1 on cae and i forgot how quick elidibus was to jump from one body to the next. it's almost comical how he has a grave-robbing hobby of some sort... from zenos to ardbert.....

also if anyone wants a not-so-secret secret to getting good, neutral colors for your xiv refs, go explorer mode on Mt. Gulg --> teleport to White Gate --> backtrack from that point and stand near one of the square boxes, /gpose, scroll out max + add 1 lv 3 light + max out character lighting

freyr's and caoimhe's glams through the expacs (yes dawntrail gets 3 bc i think they deserve it as a lil treat) some of these i actually played through / will play through with! some i couldn't bc they come from later expacs or patches, but in my headcanon these are what they'd wear...

all this time whenever i have a serious alt that i wanna use with friends, i'd just level skip and story skip (i dont have many alts tbf) so this is the first time i'm genuinely replaying all of xiv without skipping (on caoimhe) ever since i first played it in 2020...

Thinking that EC could really pull off the branched/agency of play storyline really well with their whole premise... bc I keep thinking Breath of the Wild did it with something similar? The segregated elemental-based areas, the colossal threats in each and having to subdue each to unlock the finale
