I don't know why this is being framed as a controversial take.

Give me a Death Note and 5 minutes, and I'll make the world a better place.

A statement that would have been utterly incomprehensible even 2 or 3 years ago now feels like the most likely outcome.

A Harry Potter and Paddington rewatch didn't really give anyone else a chance. I also watched every M Night movie this year!

January is a clean-up month for me, so I go through and watch a bunch of films I missed last year and all the award nominated films and this year it's coincided with me showing my wife Studio Ghibli films for the first time, so I'm having a lot of fun! #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched

Movies need to relax with their branding partnerships because I should not have my son begging for 1kg tub of Greek Yoghurt in the shop just because it has Sonic on it...

Fuck me, Dark Matter on Apple is an unbelievably good show. I'm 3 episodes in and it's already the best thing I've seen in years.

If you ever want to know what it's like having undying love from your child, I left my 5 year old with my mother for about 3 hours so I could go see Nosferatu (great by the way) and then we had dinner together and I've just told him it's bedtime and he says "Can I just follow you about for a bit?"

AI isn't all bad because my 5 year old just asked me such a strange question that when I Googled it, Google thought I was suicidal and I couldn't get an answer. Had to use Meta to find out...

Every year, Klaus is closer and closer to becoming my favourite Christmas movie. I watched it the year it came out and was very early on the hype train, but now, because it's been a while, I'm getting nostalgia for it as well. It's just such a perfect movie!

Yep... Sonic 3 is as good as everyone says it is! It's astounding to me how in a sea of terrible video game adaptations, they've managed to make 3 brilliant movies and a good spin-off show! #FilmSky #MovieSky

About to watch 'Hot Frosty' with my wife and she asks what streamer it's on... "What streamer do you think a movie called 'Hot Frosty' is going to be on babe?"

Sing Sing and Wicked in the same day whilst I was ill. Nothing to give you a boost like that! #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched

Finally got to see Wicked, and it's as good as everyone claimed. I saw the "Arianna should win an Oscar" takes and thought it was the typical hyperbole, but I'd be more surprised if she didn't than did now. Despite being Part 1 and longer than the full stage show, it never drags which...

Tonight is a The Holdovers rewatch night. The wife has never seen it and I'm very excited to show it her!

I really like what Absolute Superman did with Krypton but I'll be damned if "The League of Middle Management" isn't one of the funniest fucking things I've ever heard! #ComicSky

Just finished the first season of 'Bad Sisters' on Apple. Mixed bag. Very hat on a hat, on a hat, on a hat, on a hat with making JP essentially Hitler 2. Jumped the shark a few too many times, but oddly... I kinda loved it? I just let it get away with a lot that would have put me off other shows.

This app is pretty cool because I've been shown 4 different people's pizzas this morning. No hashtags, not big accounts with a bunch of interactions, simple caption about the pizza. Nothing special, just pizza for the love of the game!

I like BlueSky, it seems like good vibes but it's difficult starting over and training the algorithm. I'm just scrolling my feed and it's like "Here's a picture from the depths of space" DONT MAKE ME THINK ABOUT MY INSIGNIFICANTS IN THE UNIVERSE I JUST WANNA TALK ABOUT MOVIES 😭
