Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 03/10/2026There's a distressing lack of cream or custard on that pie but, I suppose, this is for breakfast and one must have an eye on the healthy option. 000
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 14/09/2026As one of those motherfucking Londoners (commuter), I'm looking forward to it immensely. 121
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 05/09/2026This is the one fact that most dramatically changed my opinions regarding WW2. I used to be a lot more forgiving of the "only obeying orders" excuse. 010
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 05/09/2026@herring1967.bsky.social Just in case you hadn't seen this from the History Extra magazine 182
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Ah, now that's interesting. But I never saw it at the time. I'll go for The Commitments. 100
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 02/09/2026All I can say is that there's some proper garbage that came out in 1991. 110
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 24/08/2026Makes perfect sense. I've like the shirt, trousers and mail hauberk look. It forms part of my unpublished (ok, completely unwritten) thesis that Conan survives when others die because he's wearing armour and they aren't. That fur loincloth isn't stopping any Turanian arrows, let me tell you! ;-) 021
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 24/08/2026Many fine artists! Do we know if REH ever saw any images of Conan and said: "Yup, that's him!” He gives obvious text descriptions of Conan but I have a memory that the earliest depictions made him look more like Valentino than the more modern art. Just interested if he ever "signed off" on a look. 100
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 15/08/2026Had a great day today with my sister, Helena, at Comics Assemble, a con in Gloucester. We drove past every tourist in the Cotswolds (it seemed) and had a great time, especially taking with the genius @jimzub.com. What a nice bloke and what a talent for writing the current incredible run of Conan. 040
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 13/08/2026Well done on not getting here today. It's a bloody furnace. Looking forward to coming to Gloucester on Saturday, though. I will try to restrain my inner fanboy (I'm 55). 110
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Gloucester, eh? Now I'm considering a cross-country drive on Saturday ... 010
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 09/08/2026100%. I was a Conservative when I was first able to vote (because of upbringing and the media's constant ridiculing of every other party). I've moved left over the years, via LibDem and Labour to the Greens at the current age of 55. I predict I will be somewhere to the left of Stalin when I die. 000
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 05/08/2026I cannot overstate how creepy I find this poster. It's the smile. Terrifying. (Well done). 010
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 04/08/2026- his brother, fought at Stalingrad and with the Allies at Monte Cassino. 2/2 000
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 04/08/2026I'm having a good listen to this one as I've got an interest: - British grandad captured at Tobruk, escaped from Italian camp to Switzerland. - wife's Italian grandad, fought in Ukraine, joined the Allies, dropped into northern Italy to organise partisans. 1/2 100
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 01/08/2026It's weird and breathy and then suddenly drops in pitch. I thought he was going to start talking about being trapped inside a shop overnight or something. "Oh ... hello ... it's ... um ... Skeletor here." 040
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 31/07/2026I'm watching Masters of the Universe (look, it's surprisingly entertaining, alright?) and trying to pin down what Skeletor's vice reminds me of and I finally got it: it's @pierrenovellie.bsky.social doing Marjorie! 481
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 28/07/2026I'm looking forward to the film about a young man from Nantucket. 000

Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 24/06/2026I've been a massive fan of this series since #1. The quality has been magnificent. It's got me back into comics again. Can't praise it highly enough and I'm looking forward to picking up #32. 020
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 22/06/2026What a good game! Apparently (today, at least), I'm not too bad at it! Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 08/05/2026Had a fantastic time last night seeing @pierrenovellie.bsky.social at Cambridge Junction. Good to hear a bit of Madagascar material - real Zeitgeist stuff. I assume you've read this book, Pierre? 020
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 28/04/2026That reeks of AI. The tone, the layout, the clumsy language. 010
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 14/04/2026I object to the fact that the delivery people in those adverts laugh at the person answering the door each time. Keep your f***ing opinions off of your faces, Whoosh delivery drones! 000
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 24/02/2026"It needs a pic. I can't find a good one. I guess I'll make one up." Yeah, I can believe that. 010
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 24/02/2026What is it that they're trying to achieve by attaching AI images? I am perhaps naive but I can't see the point. 100
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 29/01/2026And only now do I see your own post. Crikey ... I've started choosing the same words as you. This is worrying. 010
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 29/01/2026"in theater”? The fucking clowns have convinced themselves they're in Apocalypse Now. 110
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 29/01/2026Sounds like when I used to work in Stockley Park. A grim place of office buildings and bugger all else. Soul destroying. 140
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 25/01/2026It's maddening to see the world's commentators inch, at a glacial pace, towards the realisation that Trump is doing exactly what he promised he would and that his Brownshirts are clearing away the opposition, exactly as intended. His thugs are aching for the chance to spill blood. 010
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 20/01/2026Knew I should've checked the replies before I wrote my own. 120
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 20/01/2026See, I keep thinking that ICE are the SA, not the Gestapo. Civilian thugs given uniforms and urged to beat the shit out of those who object. 010
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 11/01/2026Somehow I suspected this might be garbage. Thanks for taking the hit on this one! 010
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 04/01/2026Anyone want a single ticket for Wed 21st? I've managed to double-book myself (but the clash is with an online history course so I'm hoping for some kind of sympathy from the big man, @pierrenovellie.bsky.social ) 021
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 15/12/2025A bit much to be calling Pedro "the Clawed Horror"; I'm sure he's very nice! Good miniature, though. :-) 010
Morgan Nash @morgannash.bsky.social · 06/12/2025Some people just need to hate. Good on you for trying, though. 010
