CW:Food I'm legitimately going to cry when Sweet Frogs gets rid of the Ube Cake Batter froyo. This is topped with a toasted marshmallow froyo and candy rocks and a cherry. Both flavors of the froyo are both savory with just enough sweet to make them perfect. Also - BRING BACK THE MOCHI TOPPINGS

My final thoughts. Triple strain it. It makes an absolute world of difference. I would probably do half of one star anise and 7 cups of water. It's just not as concentrated as I would prefer it to be - outside of that its delicious.

I was gone for less than three days. I just picked 130 spent blue butterfly pea flowers. Also half my okra is going to seed.

A small bowl filled with 130 spent blue butterfly pea flowers(they only bloom for about a day and a half then shrivel. I pull most of the whole bud but those that have dried the more I only take the petal and leave the base to grow a "pea" for next years seeds.

Went to Not So Scary. Had a blast. Happy to be on the way back home, but making memories with Bean will forever be my favorite thing. She got to talk to Maleficent and was just in awe( as you should be).

Both the jelly and the croutons turned out AMAZING. The Beautyberry jelly reminds me of mayhaw jelly but with a slightly more floral note. AND LOOK AT THAT COLOR! Very happy with today's kitchen - even if I had to do a ton of dishes after.

Today is a kitchen day. I harvested beauty berries from a friend's house and today made 4oz jars of fridge jelly. I also used bread crusts I've had in the freezer to make croutons for our soup dinner tonight. I ALSO watered all my indoor plants - of which I have entirely to many 😅

Harvested 32 butterfly pea flowers just today and Ive almost filled my second jar! I gave the first jar to Beans Garden teacher to make a fun lemonade experiment for the kids at the school. Its hard to harvest enough things for the over 400 kids to all try, so I'm happy to help where I can.

Started a beginner sewing class last week, so far I've made a pin cushion pillow and a small zip bag. Now I'm eyeing a cheap machine(the same one I'm being taught on at class) - so MAYBE if I sell my knitting looms, a couple skiens of yarn, and anything from my ko-fi - I might be able to buy it lol

"Anda, why did you stop posting pictures of the garden?" Squirrels. Because Squirrels. Hopefully next year I can pull the funds to build cages, but until then I feel a little more defeated every time I go out to the garden. These beds were just done yesterday but they hit all 10 and a pot.

The garden is half dead. The weeds have taken over. Something is burrowing in the beds and slowly taking out plants. But every day, without fail, I harvest okra, more okra, blue butterfly pea flowers, and cherry tomatoes. Every. Single. Day. I have so much okra and tomatoes in the freezer 🤣🤣🤣😭😬

Getting a heads start on holiday gifts. All the families are getting a cross stitch this year(mostly christmasy), this one specifically is for my niece. I'm having a blast doing pattern transfer- literally, this is my favorite thing to zone out doing.

If you know me at all, you know thay Blue Butterfly Pea Flower is one of my top 5 things I grow in the garden - BUT DID YOU KNOW THEY ALSO COME IN DIFFERENT COLORS! I tried white this year and its STUNNING. I plan eventually to grow an entire trellis with as many colors as I can.

Buying the counter top stable creamer is definitely one of the best choices we have made for our kitchen.

THE THRIFT GODS SMILED UPON ME TODAY! I need white thread. Hobby Lobby is right outside my neighborhood- I refuse. Michaels is 20 minutes away - I dont want to drive. Checked my local thrift that has a craft section on the way home and BOOM BABY! These threads run .79-2.49 EACH at the store.

We've had the quote done, waiting to hear back to schedule. But we've entered into storm season. Bark falling casually today. Lost a bunch of beans, a small trellis, a tomato cage, and the tops of two okra okra plants.

I CAN POST IT NOW BECAUSE SHE HAS IT! I designed this beautiful d20- embroidered it, then made it into a cover for a travelers journal style notebook! It can hold up to 3 small notebooks by the binding elastic. I used ultra heat transfer, cardboard, and linen from napkins I've thrifted.
