Make your resistance efforts accessible. Wear a mask. Clean the air for indoor events. Encourage people to stay home if they’re sick. Disabled people want to be involved and can bring a ton to the table if you include us. We live in constant fight or flight. We are uniquely built for resistance.

I remind myself several times a day that the people who are out to destroy me *want* me to be in perpetual reactive mode. As urgent as everything is, it is incumbent on me not to live reactively. I will not let them run me, even if they are currently in charge of my planet.

If you’re not familiar with the Nazis Aktion T4 program, please look it up. Too many folks forget that Hitler targeted disabled people first. No one spoke up, and rampant ableism means little has changed in 80 years. Centre disabled people in your resistance planning. We can help.
