Diving back into the world of Agatha Christie - well, sort of. It’s been eons since I’ve read her work, and I’m currently enjoying The Agatha, which is an homage to the writer. It’s a light, slightly uneven YA mystery, but honestly? Exactly the breezy palate cleanser I needed between heavier reads.

A lazy Saturday morning and I'm downloading MP3s from The Pirate Bay to load onto my FiiO music player for the next trip abroad. Man, I miss the ’90s and 2000s internet - not the bandwidth, just the vibe 😄 #Music #Paris #Fiio #ThePIrateBay #Piracy #MP3

Books and music are my refuge - and, sadly, my work too. They’re what keep me going these days. Still, I believe better days are ahead for all of us. Here’s a lovely tune I discovered years ago on the short-lived podcast United States of Music. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjAK... #Music #Iran #Israel

I'm sure you will enjoy it. There are a lot of stories about how he took events - some of them just ordinary life events and they became the grain that grew into a story.

It's a really good book. I wouldn't consider myself much of a fan of Stephen King. I've only read a few of his books. I did enjoy them, but I never really went deep into his work. This one, though, is a gem

Winter bus commute: beanie + over-ears don’t mix. AirPods can’t beat the bus announcements, and my ADHD brain can’t ignore them-so fewer audiobooks. It’s warming up, I’ve got Audible credits to burn. the over-ears are back. 📚 Tomorrow’s book is... #books #ScreamingTrees

No a clue. but, i will guess that the middle book on the bottom row is call of The Call of Cthulhu. Also, great graphic design for the books cover. I assume this are all part of a themed series.

Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad — I’ve read it before, but during the COVID year I reread it as part of a university class I took. That time, I understood it much better, and I took away some life lessons that honestly helped keep me sane through quarantine.

Just had my annual evaluation at work. It went pretty well—now I just need to set a few goals and actually follow through on them this year. I’ve got a few ideas: finally commit to getting some certifications and sharpen the skills I’ve been neglecting. #career #goalsetting

I've just started reading "A Passage North" By Anuk Arudpragasam. I can tell you this: sometimes, by luck or chance or destiny, one's encounter a book that touches the deepest parts of he's soul from the very first paragraph. i feel this is one of those times. #books #soul

Unlocated and lost items have always fascinated for various reasons. Yesterday, while waiting for the bus I've noticed a lost key someone laid against a pole. I hope the original owner will come back for it, but this is a long shot. I also (re)noticed the ugly urban surrounding in near my workplace.
