Ew. So much ew. Messing around with such tools is fine, sharing what you did is also fine, some potential fun there. But framing it as a way to sell “games”? *sigh* Atleast this crap makes it easer for me to spot what devs I can trust on my feed. Silver lining I guess

I haven’t looked at the video of this myself (not sure I care) but it kinda sounds like they only got up to that point? I’m sure I could have had plenty fun messing around with such a tool, just like I did with the map editor in StarCraft way back when. But it wasn’t, good, just some fun for me.

But it was also an acknowledgment that it could change drastically, especially if it was framed as a decent tech demo but not much more. A promising first step, so let’s keep an eye what the devs do, where it goes next, it can be exciting to follow the game evolve from the barebones of a tech demo.

I remember when the comment “this feels like a tech demo” was a fairly harsh complaint on some newly launched early access games. It was a nice warning to be cautious about buying in yet, and see where it goes first if it was an unknown dev.

Tenker en del på det med CO2, når jeg ser disse putre innover fjorden og kan *se* eksosen komme ut av pipa, mens lastebilen jeg kjører har så effektivt renseanlegg at jeg ikke engang kjenner lukta fra eksosen lengre. Må da være mulig rense eksosen på båt på samme måte? I teorien ihverfall?

The main issue imo is how quickly the umbrella term “AI” got slapped on a wide variety of things, neither of which actually are AI, and most people don’t seem to understand the differences anymore.

Som allerede nevnt her av andre, å kjøre opp som 18 åring og så gå mange tiår uten noen form for sjekk er litt spesielt. Tror det kunne hjelpet mange som sliter med alt fra blinklys i rundkjøring til hvorfor mobilen er så farlig i fart. Og ikke minst fange opp de som begynner bli for gamle.

Som yrkessjåfør må jeg på et ukes langt kurs hvert 5. år for å beholde retten til å kjøre mot vederlag. Skjønner det er upraktisk med noe lignende for alle med sertifikat for bil, men en liten mellomting, som en kveld eller to hvert 10., men en enkel test om basis regler tror jeg kunne hjulpet mye

What I hate even more is when that ad is 48 seconds of video, but they payed for the 2 minutes so they just loop it around again, and the third loop abruptly cuts mid sentence. If you’re that lazy with the ad, I’m not trusting you made a good game.

Sadly, yeah. What gave it away for me after a couple loops is the leash, it gets considerably linger when the dog flops but the owner stands still. It’s getting much less obvious these days and I hate it, wish atleast posters would be open about what it is.
