My wife bought some leather working equipment and it arrived in what I can best describe as an old timey shipping crate. Prying tools were required to, it appeared unannounced in the rain, and it's heavy but still carryable. No adequate words exist to describe the level of envy I am experiencing.

I officially despise Windows 11, like enough that I'm honestly considering rolling back to Windows 10 and just rolling the dice. The hardware demands alone are just ridiculous.

I'd like to announce my entry into the small batch, locally grown, backyard to living room micro Christmas tree market. Is this a shameless cash grab? Yes. Did I know it takes roughly a decade to grow a "traditionally" sized Christmas tree before entering this venture? No, no I did not.

Apparently my new dishwasher is too quiet. Didn't realize this was a thing, but apparently it is and its silence makes it untrustworthy according to my wife. "The robot vacuum makes an annoyed sound when you turn it on; I don't trust how the new dishwasher doesn't complain about doing chores."

One of the great tragedies in all of this is I had insomnia last night so I got to follow this whole thing "live" and I was really looking forward to getting to go "Morning dear, I have some good news for you" when my wife woke up. Really wanted this for her, and I'm now mad she's been denied this.

The new Superman movie is good. it's fun, it's colorful, it feels correct if that makes any sense, and Nicholas Hoult's performance as Lex Luthor is amazing. Like you should see the movie just for Hoult's performan. Edi Gathegi as Mr. Terrific was equally scene stealing/fantastic as well.
