I dont quite recall do we know whether Jan was alive to see the BC and/or Cata ZA stuff? I know Jarra remembers the time before the loa "left" as a "young child"... that was in 26 and 28 BDP respectively, and now we're in.. 43 or 44 probably depending how long TWW took canonically.

somewhat late disclaimer: the details of this might be wrong x) maybe it was when they made it their own browser game and not a book and/or maybe it was a decision they made themselves to be safe and not legal trouble I should be more careful about recounting decade old things I "heard about"...

I guess like when you advertise your private server on Youtube that book too could have sorta given the impression of being an official product on first glance, which could lead to all kind of trouble for all parties involved. at least that was what I figured back then

(and not like a tiny..little fan shop but "really" sell it) and there was just this book by some German guy out there with clearly Warcraft motives and place names and MAYBE (been a while) even Warcraft-ish logos etc they got into legal trouble and had to go over it to change some things and names.

in the early-ish wow days there was this German webcomic about some human knight and gnome mage (dunno if it still exists) called Shakes & Fidget that never had any issue as a webcomic that I assume still made ad money and stuff but once they started to print and sell it as a book

I'd also think they just grow longer and longer throughout the years, and it seems family portrait boy agrees now the interesting follow-up is about the new thalassian dogs, assuming they have regular dog lifespans. Much quicker eyebrow growth, and thus much more powerful beings than elves

it's still there on PTR for me. are you on an "Ignore slot" weapon or a fist weapon maybe? it only shows up and works for weapons where you can actually change it. ..which does come w/ its own problems when swapping into outfits that do ignore their weapon slot

You're right, that character not being Xalatath seems unlikely as an example, but there COULD be other things she carefully weaves her little story around. Here's hopin!

..happened and what part she might've played in it. Could get interesting, could get fumbled. But I choose to remain optimistic for my own enjoyment's sake!

.."I was a mortal" so the character we and Salhadaar are shown wouldnt HAVE TO be her. She never says "the void destroyed my world" she just said her world was destroyed and hatred and void washed over her yadda yadda (I should have rewatched it before writing this maybe) so who knows what...

I feel from a meta narrative perspective they wouldn't just bring all this up for it just to have been all made up - What I CAN imagine is her being tricksy about what it means (and the most obvious interpretations maybe being false). e.g. she never says "i was a bald lil girl" she just says....

sometimes what worked for me was trying to find a place where it fits (sometimes halfway hanging inside a wall or whatever) and manually moving it over to where I wanted it in the first place via advanced mode but yes, it's weird either way

my main Rhumi is a dark iron dwarf! She is a beastmaster with a special connection to all the creepy crawlies deep within the mountain. I also have a wildhammer DK and an overgrown Earthen shaman but I dont really RP those or anything really

forgiving fellas who wouldnt necessarily hold it against Gelbin, but not holding it against him and getting rid of their High Tinker elections because he's just so swell and they want to have him as their king forever are two different beasts.
