I just noticed Sora's theme in KH2 is written in the key of D major while Roxas' is in D minor. I don't know if it's already a well known fact within the fandom

I've always thought this was one of the main culprits behind why a huge part of the community thinks xc3 area themes are not as good as the other games

The target mood was something like valak mountain day theme which I really find relaxing even though it's supposed to be a bit unsettling

I've only done 4 runs so far, 1 for each character, but I'm really having a lot of fun with this game

Every time I think about Saga 3, my mind always goes to that cat and the balloon, and I get so fucking sad

I may be a little obsessed with that piano section in the middle of the xeno genesis trailer

I'm really happy Abounnasr is going to be more heavily involved in Genesis' ost

I hope Genesis will have a proper codex like Saga's keyword database and that the one in XDE was just a prototype for it. The protagonist is a student (for just the first 30 seconds of the game), so having something like a diary would make sense

I wonder if Mitsuda is going to make more area and battle themes compared to the trilogy. ACE and Hiramatsu used to make most of the battle themes and a huge chunk of the area themes. In Genesis, I think Kiyota and Abounnasr will probably compose most of the area themes, but I-

I'm happy the new Xenoblade isn't 4 or X-2, even though there's something about the trailer that felt slightly off to me, idk what (the characters' faces maybe?). Speaking of music, I'm really happy Mitsuda as the main composer + Abounnasr and Kiyota are back again for the OST, but I wonder if a-
