Here’s an old stump that threw out suckers, creating a bowl that holds rainwater. Deers love it & Ole does too. He smells them on the bark so he has to leave his scent too. Pretty comical!

Then we took the dogs to Seppiessa for a short walk by the cove. It opens up into a big pond, and by the tide line, you can tell they’ve opened it @ the barrier beach to flush it out, get some fresh saline in for the clams, oysters, & crabs.

Nice! I think this is only the 3rd time they’ve ever been seen in New England waters. As my article noted, the 1st one was spotted in Seamounts Marine National Monument, a previously protected and nearly 5,000-square mile area that tRump is opening up to commercial fishing. 😡
