Evangelion Crossover Plot Idea: Nero wanted Gaius to like him more than Cid so bad that it turns out years ago he too adopted some random kids.

A badly photoshopped image shows a backdrop that was obviously once an empty screenshot of the streets of Werlyt. Pasted over this background are common promotional promotional assets of Nero tol Scaeva in his Praetorium armor (posed as if strutting down the street), Rei Ayanami in her plugsuit (posed as if sitting on the fountain), Kaworu Nagisa in his plugsuit (posed as if sitting on a fountain statue), Shinji Ikari in his school uniform (posed in background as if he is lost), and Asuka Langley Soryu in her plugsuit (posed front and center as if posing for the shot).

What I need to know is whether the original composers from the GENESIS are also back and - if so - what are their commission rates for making a little intro theme for a tiny baby streamer. The concept I have in mind when I try to find composers is literally "Ecco-esque" and it's just impossible.

Artist did their homework, wow... Haurchefant appeared in the 2014 Heavensturn quests, disguised by an Uma-kabuto, as the "Knight Exemplar". Bonus Fun Fact: Unlike the MSQ, his "chivalrous perv" trope was not dialed back in the English version of these quests AT ALL, lol. #FFXIV #FF14

I need a mod that replaces the mount music with Eddie Guerrero's LIE, CHEAT & STEAL theme.

The Garland Tools database entry for the new FFXIV mount "Lowrider T1RANT", a classic lowrider automobile with a flame paint job. I appreciate the end clarifying that it's more intuition of an enemy's intent (Fordola got a hyper version of this b/c/o Krile's additional ability to see aether traces), but I bet a lot of people are gonna read that super literally. "The user interface is the Echo!" is undefeatable, lmao.

A screenshot of a Final Fantasy XIV Q&A question, reading:

Q16.
From time to time, you see some very unique skills/spells being cast by the enemies. I am curious if the enemy labels and gives a name to their own skills/spells, or if the Warrior of Light takes a look at the enemy and goes "Thats gotta be called that skill!"

A16.
Both are correct. There are some cases which the enemy possesses their own will and named their own cast, or a if it carries a program, or maybe some cases which an Eorzean named it such as "Morbol Breath". Warrior of Light being able to see the castbar on top of the enemy's head is thanks to the Echo. A normal person could not see such. Think of it like a "super gut sense" that top-tier MMA fighters might have?

"I MiSs WhEn MeDiA WaSn'T PoLiTiCaL" Lol. Lmao.

A statement by Yasumi Matsuno:

Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles

Nearly 30 years ago, the collapse of Japan's bubble economy engulfed the nation's financial institutions in mountains of bad debt, triggering a wave of corporate bankruptcies, a sudden and extreme rise in unemployment rates, and stagnation of Japanese society as a whole. It was an era when many were robbed of hope, when dreams were measured by their price tag.

Against this historical backdrop, I crafted a story. It was the story of Ramza, a young man who fought tirelessly against the entrenched social class system. It was the story of Delta, who sought to take advantage of this confusion and despair to advance his own social position. It was the story of a peculiar destiny, in which friendship and betrayal intertwine.

And now, in 2025 – a time when inequality and division are still deeply rooted in society – I offer this story once again.

Yasumi Matsuno – Original Script, Scenario Writer and Editor

The #FFXIV New Year's Poem for 2025 is up. (Panslation in the Lore Forum as is yearly tradition.) I think it's giving Solution IX. Alexandria's history is adapting to survive crises. If they look back with nostalgia on the regulators and the endless without adapting now, their future is doomed.

Never stop. Never turn back.
He who stops with ne'er endure.
He who turns back will ne'er be more.
