Paranormal Activity was good. Acting was good. Effects were good. Opened up a conversation between Hubby & me. I don’t believe any of that supernatural stuff. He thinks it might be possible but has never experienced anything.

Woke up at 2:45. Just too excited to sleep. Flew to JFK at 7:00. Good flight. Took a limo to the hotel which I highly recommend. Much better than a cab. Did some shopping while waiting for the hotel room. Great weather today in NYC. Great to be back.

Heading to NYC tomorrow & trying a different packing strategy. Bought a 6-pack of t-shirts for $20; socks even less. Will wear then toss. No large pile of laundry when I get home. Less to lug home. Would have room in luggage if I want to buy something. Wasteful? Yes. Convenient? Also yes.

We had a bad thunderstorm last night. Messed up Hubby’s modem & a GFI outlet that controls the coffee maker. Up early to move Hubby’s pc to my AT&T modem. Then to Ace Hardware for a GFI outlet. Installed that. Feeling very butch at the moment.

Changing my weightlifting routine. Going to train with a split Monday, Tuesday. Take Wednesday off except for walking. Train a split Thursday, Friday. Walk Saturday, Sunday. I’m at an age where 5 days a week lifting is beating my body up too much. Will just do a little leg work on split days.

Today has been medical stuff day. Fasting blood tests this morning. Had to pick up Tessa’s carrier from the vet. We were so upset we forgot it. Still waiting on the ashes. Vaccinated, but that’s in another post. Picked up prescriptions at my pharmacy.

Went to the CVS for vaccines inside Target. Thought I’d check out the Halloween decorations but it’s not out yet. They had just a few little things scattered around the store. I think Target has lost their way. Used to be a good place to shop. But they did away with creativity along with DEI.

Up at 7:00. Moved Tessa’s bed, toys, etc out. Vacuumed then used carpet shampooer. Changed air filters. Scrubbed the walls. Dusted all the furniture & electronics to remove bunny fur. Vacuumed again. Shampooed carpet again. Looks like humans live here now.

Tessa went into kidney failure and the vet recommended putting her down. She wouldn’t have survived surgery.

We had to take Tessa to the emergency vet today where they put her in ICU for 24 hours under an oxygen tent. Elevated temperature, trouble breathing. She’s an elderly rabbit but will try to make her better.

Our rabbit, Tessa, was sick on Saturday. Wouldn’t eat/drink; lethargic; fever. Gave her a double dose of antibiotics & more Sunday. Acted more like herself Monday. Still not 100%.
