Good work Mexico! Our firefighters are there as well! 🇨🇦

Part of what I love about using vintage tech is saving really great stuff from the landfill and putting it back to work. #apple #vintage #macintosh

Loved the article! A few little mistakes: the iMac came out 1998 not 1988, and didn’t Mac OS 8.5 have right-button support built in? I remember using contextual menus in the Finder…

It’s adorable that the USA wants to become the 11th province. 🇨🇦

@rdg.bsky.social, are you the one who kindly sent me those Newton Protest photos?

If you ever have the opportunity to be an author, businessperson, comedian, and science communicator PICK ONE.

Actually I think our disconnect with nature is very harmful to us as a species.

Thanks. I'm working a lot today but I'll try to find some time to watch.

How about answering the phone for other people.

It’s a cool theory, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was true but there isn’t really enough evidence. Plus our brains haven’t evolved enough to even understand it if it’s true.

I think there are some people, for better or for worse, are born without the religious gene. Your story is similar to Richard Dawkins'. He was never attracted to that very human experience.

Not at all. 🙂 I think it’s worth believing and it has made all the difference in my life, but I know some people have been hurt by religion and I respect that some people want nothing to do with it.

Thanks Docteur. I suppose I take issue only with the idea that “god” is only a concept invented to explain what science cannot, a “god of the gaps.” You’re right, that god certainly does not exist.

I heard Russia started their own Twitter alternative. It’s called Blueski.

That's fair. I suggest we agree on what we can, and treat each other with kindness whether we agree or not.

Sounds like a legit bad experience. Bible College actually cured me of my young earth creationism, going to a secular university after taught me to think critically, my religion changed a lot but I didn’t lose it. There’s a difference between religion and God as a concept. I appreciate your candour.

I think what you say is true, but even non-religious people find reasons to kill each other, sadly. I think kindness is more important than religion.

Thanks. I guess I’m just baffled how your idea of “god” is so small.

Are you trolling? This seems a little small minded of you.
