Everytime I publicly announced "I'm looking for art commission on my chatacter!", I get piled of dms right away. Some people don't even show their example upfront or their art portfolio is not even related to what I'm looking for. So that is why I'm very private and selective sometime.

When I was young, it was mostly OCx Canon. Now Im trying to explore different relationships (cousins, sibling etc) after learning animation and character design in school. Although it fun explore sibling relationships even though I grew with cousins and the only child.

On the positive side, I did my art goals own my list. I got weapon designs commission open, study couple poses for month and new illustrations I made with procreate only. My main work station is stores away and still in the middle of the cross country move plan.

I do yumeship myself. Whether its a lover, family, friend etc to the canon character. I think OC is the best way also for people to explore or play with their OC character in the same universe. Being creative, socializing and solving mysterious, which the creator or writer left us to explore!

OC x Canon is always a normal thing in USA for decades, when people learn the Japanese slang/label Yumeship in 2025, it was treated like a documentary and not so serious. People are very accepting. I learned from a Japanese person, it came from recent fandom drama on Japan side.

My last month goal is to learn how to draw couple ship which that time, I see "Yumeship" trend I missed last year. So I look up what does that mean, turn out it was Japanese term/label for people who draw OC X Canon or inserting an OC into the Canon Universe, meaning "Dream".

Whenever I stream Procreate, people wanted to learn it from me. I never find Procreate hard to learn, but I believe Procreate Dream is complex! Photoshop is still high quality and bigger horsepower, but expensive for people who want to do art for a hobby.
