Mood right now too as I don't see my art as sexual. At first I thought it was because much of my art has knives and blood/candy guro, but now it just seems like it's targeting furries. ...but what else is new ig

I still think Luigi should claim it was self-defense with the amount of people that CEO had killed. Who knows who he would come for next, and Luigi was already dealing w/ the medical system for his back, so ... that's what they do, torture then murder.

That's why I'm barely on this acct because it's a drag. I can't get any interaction w/out me giving the time/effort to seek out accts first, along with bluesky's love of censorship and hatred for fandom along with non cis people.

I don't even need to be logged out or on a private window. This garbage is still the only thing all over my discovery tab & bluesky still hasn't fixed the "bug" after a month of me requesting.

Woke up today feeling inspired to try pushing my art in more abstract ways. I kinda fudged the background a little 🤪😂 but I actually love some of the post processing effects and colours I worked out for Azala, I think it’s a colour pop! Let me know what you think!

I reposted replies to a thread. BlueSky is banning several "themes" in artworks, one of them being gore. Staff is claiming art can encourage the action irl. Um... Are we in the 90s again where we wanna ban violent video games, or just tending to Evangelical boomers that run credit card companies?

Thanks for telling me! For me it's like... for ever 20 posts of normie stuff/people, I have 1 from someone I'm following. If I find a solution, I'll be sure to post about it and let you know 🙃 bc I rly feel that's why we don't have engagement here... our posts are being shown to the wrong audience!

I know bc any 1 or 2 likes I do manage to right after posting are from "regular people"... like people w/ their real names and real pic of themselves for pfps. Meanwhile it's not a problem on my other acct nor my partner's acct in having related content on the Discovery to what we post.

This is more #oldart ♡ I love the witchy aesthetic and I think crystals are very pretty, so I wanted to combine that with a drawing a cat since I love them. #moonriselotusart ✧ #digitalart ✧ #pagan ✧ #catart ✧ #art

An alien galaxy cat relaxes on a table with a crystal ball and purple quartz cluster tucked within its tail. Behind it is a candle, a cup with the chaos symbol, a couple bottles, and a book with a Ying-yang on it. Around the cat's paw are some beads and a rose quartz rainbow wand that points to an opal egg. It's very challenging to draw with dyspraxia, so I worked hard to try and get a consistent style. Though the result is often very bad physical pain with hand/arm since dyspraxia hinders your movement (so I'm basically fighting against what my body wants to do naturally).

Thanks for the encouragement. Really meant a lot to read this point a view bc before I got CFS I was trying rly hard to work in artist alleys at conventions. Took me 4 years to be accepted by a jury con & my rejections were due to "too much cat art" and/or "inconsistent style". +

I can share with you that I think you have really fun composition ideas from what I can tell. What I think what could be developed more might be how you focus/aim your photographing of your art, but I love how you don't seem afraid to do dynamic angles and scenes as well!

˚ ༘♡ ⋆｡˚ Moonrise Lotus ˚ ༘♡ ⋆｡˚ @moonriselotus.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

I might be the minority as someone who was relentlessly bullied about having "bad art" for years both online and offline, so I respectfully disagree, but I also understand the sentiment about not liking the silent appreciation either. If you're looking for some concrit+

Yeah, it's unfortunate. Honestly I've seen many ppl say they don't comment because they feel like "only" saying "looks nice" isn't enough. But it is. Little comments like that can do so much.

Thank you so much. Honestly reading that helped me feel better a lot. You've always known what to say to help a lot of people, myself included. I'm happy you feel my art is worth the wait. I hope you are doing well. I miss you a lot and always wishing we could hang out again.

Very true. I've learned that having a routine and "environment awareness" helps A LOT 💕 but sadly you can be a mentally/physically prepared as possible and CFS can still kick your ass 😿

˚ ༘♡ ⋆｡˚ Moonrise Lotus ˚ ༘♡ ⋆｡˚ @moonriselotus.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

I assure you people want it & like your art, but comment culture is dying. There seems to be a growing "silent expectation" w/ art being treated as content rather than art. On one hand we don't have to deal w/ as much entitlement in our faces. But at the same time, comments can be so fueling too.
