After like a year of painting, I'm trying to get into lineart again and I'mmmm struggling 😫Also why did I decide my main male character would be an Astartes? Regular muscles are already hard to draw. I have to make him look freakishly big without making it too uncanny?? How??

Also been practicing faces recently - These were specifically made for a board game Nic and I have been playing. We used all base game characters, so rather than reusing them, I made so moreee :3

By the way, Geraunt's Protector Clan are the ones responsible for wiping out Enid's village. Geraunt unknowingly saved Enid's life that day.

Val | Pickle @moonpickles.bsky.social · 22/05/2025

Stuff happen, Geraunt and Enid get married and they become the Realm's Power Couple. THE END. To think I just wanted a masked dark knight to fall in love with a pretty lady. Now they have lore.

Val | Pickle @moonpickles.bsky.social · 22/05/2025

That blood awakens after her and her Lady are attacked by an unknown assailant. Turns out, the Lady's father, who suspected Enid's lineage is the one responsible for the attack and wants to use Enid's Dragon Blood to advance his own position.

Val | Pickle @moonpickles.bsky.social · 22/05/2025

Enid lost her family as a child and ended up working as a lady's maid. After meeting Geraunt, she learns that she comes from a village who took in Dragon Nobles who survived the War, generations ago, meaning she most likely has Dragon Blood.

His eye turned draconic in a failed attempt to awaken his latent powers. Because of his appearance, he never removes his helm in public.

100

Val | Pickle @moonpickles.bsky.social · 22/05/2025

Geraunt is a Protector, raised by a dragon blood clan whose duty was to keep the Dragon Nobles in check. Despite a powerful lineage, he failed to develop sufficiently to be of use to the clan and was relegated to mercenary work.

Val | Pickle @moonpickles.bsky.social · 22/05/2025

Will I ever stop creating random characters for stories that will never make it past my draft folder? Never. Geraunt, the Dragon Knight, and Enid, the Last Dragon Queen. They get married and it causes trouble for the whole realm.
