The factory color on my 2015 Focus ST was called Tangerine Scream. Would look more orange or yellow based on light conditions.

Hydrangea tree survived and started flowering this past week. Too late for a full bloom but I’m impressed by its resilience. Should have a nice comeback next spring.

My beloved! Yes, technically it existed before as the ATS but it is and will be the only CT4-V Blackwing (probably a good thing from a naming perspective because it’s quite the mouthful).

My BiL does not mess around when it comes to his Dalia garden. Yes, he plans his flowers around his fiscal year. In all, I think he said it was around 120 plants (ft eepy bees).

Spent $107 at the farm today 🙈 I got: a salt and butter baguette (tasted like a pretzel), an apple pie, half a blueberry pie, pumpkin fudge, honey goat cheese, farm made muenster cheese, fresh tomatoes, and peanut butter lava cake.

I haven’t been able to wash my car since before my surgery in mid-August. Feels good to get the layer of dust off it. #Caddy

Sky was wild last night. Usually only looks this cool before we get crushed by the weather - and we’re about to be. Stay safe northeast US friends!

Added a new fish to my little tank. Over fed the lil fella because I underestimated the quantity of the new food. 🤷‍♂️

Blackwing cold start. Haven’t driven in a while but I should be back in action next week. Can’t wait for some fall driving!

Having our bathroom redone and I am especially proud of my tile choices. Electrician just put the lights in today so I could finally get a good look and am so happy with how it came out so far.

Had our 3rd or 4th storm that dropped at least 3” of rain in under 12 hours this summer. Been contemplating a lift kit for the Volvo. Anyone have thoughts/feelings on this? It happens frequently enough that it may actually be practical but I don’t know enough about the pitfalls. Input appreciated.

Train bridge ~1 mile from my house. Floods frequently but can be avoided.

Could swap out the Z4 and the X5 for these, two (the E46 was that good).

Honestly, if you’re looking for a roadtrip car for a bunch of people, this thing is probably as good as it gets. Super reliable 3800 series V6 (supercharged, if you please) and plenty of room for people and their stuff.

This was my least favorite part of my day. Dipstick wasn’t dry, so it wasn’t completely depleted, but it took 5 quarts. Concerning, need to monitor.🤔😕

Goldfinches love zinnias. They pluck the petals, which have seeds in their base, and help them to propagate.

Mid-summer update: it’s good! Moved the hydrangea tree and swapped it with self-seeded rose of Sharon and the interest from the deer has dropped greatly.

Wish I knew what these were called but they’re red bell-shaped flowers and are thriving.
