In other news, lots of things happened this year. I hurt my ankle in the first half of the year and with it getting colder its starting to get stiff and hurt, I had to get a new car, and I was accepted into a masters program for behavioral psychology.

It's the end of an era 😭😭, I had to buy a new car today and I can't transfer my peeling ed and Stede stickers (my stizzy charm that hangs off the rear view mirror is already in place in my new car), it was fun while it lasted

Well the 3rd bit of bad finally hit, I sprained my ankle over a moth ago, my cars ac stopped working 2 weeks ago and will cost $2000, and finally my sister was admitted to the hospital yesterday for a severe kidney infection because she has over 30 kidney stones in her kidneys

It's been 3 weeksish since I sprained my ankle and I realized a few things A) past 2 years sprained my left ankle about 4 times B) this time was the most severe, but I've been mostly walk normal for 2 weeks now C) I have utterly forgotten how to walk down the stairs normally, can walk up just fine

Summary

As a younger man sailing for king and country, Izzy had seen the old girls dry docked at the English yards on both sides of the Atlantic. Thinking about Con's poem again, the ring and realized I wrote this back in Nov 2022 "Rustling through the dead man's pockets he pulls out a ring, gold band with a small emerald stone. He pockets it, planning on giving it to James, as a peace offering, maybe. Or as a sign of love for his matelot."
